Jeff visits the workshop of Daniel Bernasconi to discover how Soma Sound Sculptures, high-quality handpan-style steel drums, are made. Soma is located in the village of Rehetobel, in the breathtaking eastern part of Switzerland.
Switzerland Travel: Toggenburg Klangwelt

Jeff Wilson travels to eastern Switzerland's Toggenburg region to visit the Klangwelt (Sound World). With help from Roland Liechtensteiger of Toggenburg Tourism, Jeff hikes the Klangweg (Sound Trail) and tours the Klangschmiede (Sound Forge) Museum where he learns a bit about the history of sound in Switzerland and forges a real Swiss cow bell.

Ondine, l'homme qui marche, ses écrivains, ses prestidigitateurs, tous ses trésors passés, de son cerveau à ses mains, avec bien sûr l'assistance de son équipe entière, tous avec leurs savoir-faire de génie, hanteront longtemps j'espère, mes mémoires de vieil enfant... Dites lui, si vous le croisez, quelle chance pour vous, que quelque part, un môme regrette de ne l'avoir approché, quand il était encore temps, pour un échange, pour une visite, de son atelier, son univers... Bref Dites lui merci de ma part 🙏
