6 Ways for Black Women to Say No (Without Sounding Broke)
Part of becoming wealthy is mastering the art of saying, "No!"
No is a powerful word.
Whenever you say "no" to something that isn't in full alignment with who you are and what you want, you're saying "yes" to creating the financial future you truly deserve.
You can't build wealth without learning when to say no. To yourself and others.
Let your no be just as powerful as your yes.
Let it be definitive and firm.
But above all, know that it doesn't mean you have a scarcity mindset or you're broke. It means you're selective with how you allocate the money you earn! As you should be.

Great perspective! Reframing the "reasons why" can be a super power! I could definately forgo a couple meals and do an intermittent fast 😅. I have kids so one of my recent realizations is, just because the kids get something to eat out, doesn't mean I have to eat also. Generally Im not hungry when they are....so thats a savings!

I feel that #2, dont get complacent in being "poor". I think because I dont place a high moral value on money, I accept a lower level of expectation for myself financially. I grew up very comfortable and so getting out of that middle class I dont need to be extra rich mindset, has me stuck, because Im comfortable (but not really) 🙄

No accountability in the black community, its always someone else fault 4. Conducting business based on color and not competence. 5. Fear of being excluded for thinking differently. 6. I think buy now, pay later programs, like affirm, uplift, etc, are secret killers to wealth. I can see the benefits of taking advantage of these programs. Especially, if they come with 0% interest! However, those payments add up and will eat away at your pockets.

Keeping up with the Joneses is a much bigger problem than we think within black communities. Not only does it lead to poverty within our homes but it also leads to crime (theft, murder, scamming) which leads to felonies and then perpetual cycle of poverty. Another one I would add is Hip-Hop Culture. I know we love our music and artist but we have to come to terms with the fact that their music is influencing our children and even some adults to live lifestyles that are open doors to poverty. The artist are multi-millionaires, and some are even billionaires yet their messages praise violence (DV, armed robbery, murder), drug use and dealing, broken homes/abandoning children, trafficking, and the list goes on. They don’t use their new found wealth to uplift and create more millionaires. Instead they are getting paid to keep the rest of us down.

Great question!! Whoever is in charge of dealing with the estate is responsible for settling debts. Payment might come from money, property or other assets. If there is no executor of the estate, it usually goes to next of kin. If the estate can't pay it, co-signer will be responsible. if no co-signer, the debt will likely go unpaid.
