In this video, I reflect on my recent move to Japan to play professional basketball and explore why it's important to have creative outlets. This UA-cam channel has become that space for me-a place where I can keep it real and learn to express myself beyond basketball.
I felt like I owed the world a detailed description as to why I started this channel, but as I watched back and edited this episode, I came to realise these explanations were the proof I needed to convince myself to break out of my box and to seek to find a more diverse expression of me.
Ontop of that, I identified a pattern in my thinking process - when I'm not feeling confident enough about doing something, I'll convince myself I need more... More information, more books, more podcasts, more techniques. But really what I need to give myself is that push to simply DO.
What's the point of acquiring all this knowledge if we're not actively embodying it and allowing it to change our lives.

Growth comes from embracing the process, not chasing perfection. This channel is about me building my personal philosophy, developing communication skills, and getting across the message that we should be having more mindful discussions with both ourselves and others.
