I was using snakes for 5 years for moderate speed freeride (40kmh). Snakes with snake skin graphics were awesome but I am having issues with the new ones. Chattering, unpredictable kickout and hookup. And when the the lips square out they are useless basically. Switched to EZ hawgs 2 months ago. They are amazing even at higher speeds. No issues with icing out. The slides are perfectly controllable and predictable. However when the lips square out the difference is significant but my angle grinder does the job making the lips round again. Thanks for the recommendation. Already bought 4 sets.

Yeah been there but that’s why I wear knee pads - only problem is that you slide further with knee pads so sometimes you have to lie flat and risk the dick rash to slow down the slide. 😂
