Yes it is
Can you use the flush port on the top left side instead of muffs?
You can flush the motor using the port you mention, with the motor in the up or down position and not running for about 15 mins at half pressure. Hope this helps.

What size boat was that fitted to? I'm looking at putting a Mercury 115 CT on a deep v 20 ft rated to a max 1800kg to replace an old Honda 135. Will I miss the 20hp by downsizing?
IF You went for the Mercury 115 Pros XS this will give you about 10 percent extra power over the standard 115, if a heavy boat go for the CT gearbox it should give you better performance and a bigger propeller choice. So in answer to your question I don’t think you will see much of a performance loss if set up correctly Hope this helps.

Is this just a custom cowling or can you actually get a mariner branded “merc 150”?
This is a standard production motor for the European market, Mariners are available up to 150

Yes it’s a very well looked after motor and only done a few hundred hours.

We run it through a water drum connected to the water inlet that normally goes onto the transom plate.
