I'm so glad you saw to the point of the video. It's amazing how you can enter into something for one reason and learn so many new ideas, tips, and tricks. Glad you are along for the journey!!! ☺️
Lovely message! It’s hard to delegate when you’re in the beginning of the entrepreneur journey and in the middle of the SAHM journey. 😂 5 kiddos in a row here and starting a business. 😅
It's SO HARD!! 5 kids here, too! And it took me one year before I hired my first VA and two years before I hired my first stateside assistant! But it was SO worth it! I'd love to hear more about your new business! 😍
@@MomDeskClub Thanks for sharing! It’s a digital course to teach computer programming for beginners and productivity along the way. Me and my husband working on this. :) No family around and we live in a ranch 30 min from anywhere 😆 hard to get a nanny. I love your channel. ❤️ It’s so motivating!
@@emilzeeloy I LOVE that!!! And I love that you and your husband are doing it together! My husband and I started real estate photography together ❤. You and I might be twins, LOL. We live in the middle of nowhere and only in the last 9 months did we have family super close! (Hint: I stumbled on a homeschool teen down the road and she comes over once a week to help me corral the people and get caught up! She's a unicorn, but you never know what unicorn could be around that you haven't met yet! She lived five minutes away from me for 3 years before I finally found her 🤦🏼♀🤣) Thank you!! I hope to see you around here more! I'll be talking a LOT about delegating over the next little while 😁.
@@MomDeskClub How awesome finding someone to help! I’ll keep my eyes open! Loved learning more about your journey. For sure I’m gonna stick around! :)

I eat a high protein diet to help with my pcos and chickpeas and chickpea pasta has been a game changer for me! I can throw them into so many meals, make a salad out of them, or just boost the protein in any pasta dish I usually would make.
@@Theunaestheticwriter that’s an amazing tip!! I’ve had red lentil pasta before and that was really good, too! It’s a great way to skip the standard pasta carbs and up the protein! Thank you for sharing your hack! 🤩
Loved your video! Such great tips that make so much sense when I'm thinking about my work during the month!!
Thank you!! Yes! It’s amazing how when we think about our workload as women, it really runs better on a monthly rhythm than a daily one! Daily works great for men - but … that’s cause they are little daily hormone running machines 😅.
Good day dear friend ❤️

I do not work from home anymore, but I do work outside of the home now, and I feel like a lot of these things translate well to both, and even SAHMs. I use and love the PPP Planner, and one of the techniques I use relates to that! I leave my physical planner at home - it's always open in my kitchen on a cute little stand. I do not keep any appointments in my physical planner...just notes, to-do lists, etc. Anything that has a scheduled time goes in my phone because I always have it with me. I have a "big" family so I color code a lot, which is also how I prioritize tasks. Green = must get done today/high priority; yellow = can be done later/delegated to someone else; red = not on my radar but don't want to forget.
It's true!! A lot of tips and strategies can be applied to lots of different people, and just tweaked and changed based on their own unique families! I love the color coding! And that you don't put appointments in the physical planner. All of my appointments go in my phone ... cause like you said, it's always with me and I won't forget them 😅. Thank you for sharing your tips!!

@@MomDeskClub yes. I'm a SAHM and want to learn how to better manage my time.
Great advice! Thank you ❤
Thank you for watching and commenting!! 😍
I like the idea of having a social media timer.
It has been SO helpful in keeping focused and purposefully blocking off time for it! I enjoy catching up on social media, but knowing that I have a timer going keeps my time SO much more purposeful! 🤩 And then having my husband set the password keeps me stuck to my commitment 🤣.
Well aren’t you a breath of fresh air! This video caught my eye because, while I wouldn’t call myself a work at home mom, I would like to get better at caring for myself and making time to develop as a person. My seven kids are ages 3-14, and I’m learning that being full-time-mom-only is a wonderfully blessed season of life - but a *season* nonetheless! And when they leave the nest, I need to still be a person in my own right, if that makes sense.
Thank you so much for watching and commenting ❤. I think, in the back of my heart - this is part of it for me, too! My 4 children are 7-2 with another due in April, and I LOVE being their mom, and yet there is still another part of me, that has always been there, that NEEDS creative outlets! I know I'll always be there for my kiddos, even when they are adults, as much as they want or need me, but even the Proverbs 31 woman was buying and selling property, planting vineyards, and so many other endeavors! Hope you continue joining us on the journey and look forward to seeing how you develop yourself over the coming years!! 🥰
I’ve been doing this for 3 years now, with a little break in between, as a homeschooling mama as well. So it’s possible! I do parent coaching which has helped me make my own schedule. But it’s not always easy! For me, Montessori has helped a lot when my son was younger to actually create more free time for me. That’s actually my jam, Montessori. 😌 I also had to adapt: there were days where I could get a lot done and some where he needed me more. And now that he’s older, it’s a flow. Difficult to get some hard core structure. I tend to work more at night. Like a lot of wahm!!
YES!!! Some days we are rockin', other days we're just rollin' (on the floor crying, LOL 🤣). I was really interested in Montessori when my children were younger! I would say I still have parts of it incorporated into our lifestyle, but I agree, teaching independent play made SUCH a difference when I only had one and two children! I know that adding more children is technically more work ... but it also creates more playmates and as they learn how to play together, that helps me, too! My struggle with night working is that my brain is DEAD once I hit the evening 🤣. So eventually I have to tell myself "You are no good to anyone right now. Do what HAS to be done and then brush your teeth and go to bed - a rested WAHM is going to get more done tomorrow than a sleep deprived one who still didn't actually get her work done tonight ... " 🤣🤪. Thank you for sharing your experiences!! 🥰
I have been a WAHM for almost 9 years. I was spending too much time working! I felt guilty and spent late nights working after the kids slept (especially during the pandemic while schools were closed). Recently, I calculated my hourly wage for my part-time job (it's a contract with a set fee), and I realized I was cutting into my pay and jeopardizing my other responsibilities by setting aside too much time for my paid employment. Parkinson's law says work expands to fill the allotted time, which was the truth for me. I've cut my hours from 8 to 4 per day. My children go to school and my goal is to not work after I pick them up from school. Of course, my other responsibilities as a parent, spouse, and human being just get squeezed in haphazardly, so I don't have it all figured out. But for contract workers, I suggest taking a good hard look at your hours.
This is such a GREAT reminder!!! If you don't have a set hourly requirement, the faster you do things the more you get paid - and the more time you get to spend being a human, a mother, a wife, and just a person!! Thank you for sharing your experiences!! 🥰
