I renovated four very same chairs and I painted them in white shabby shic style ( my favorite style and color ), and all my furnitures in my apartmen in same style and color, too. One front leg on the one of the chairs was broken, and my wife though tha it can't be solved any more, but I renovated it and now anybody can't gess what leg it was. Your video is great and it shows that old things don't have to goes in to the trash, everything can be renovated in style what somebody love. My neighbours discarded many pieces of furniture that I took, renovated or repurposed into something else and gave them a new life. I showed them what I did with them and they were all delighted with what they saw. And I must to say, I'm an amateur, not professional, but I love make some new things from old and discarted pieces.

So helpful. I had never done any upcycling and wanted to take on the challenge for a boring chair. Thanks to your clear explanations, the chair is now proudly exhibited in our entrance hallway. Thank you !🙂

Very good job. Love watching you work. I can tell you're a perfectionist, and that was a great choice of workable fabric. Only thing missing, is the bottom lining for the chair. That can easily be cut out and stapled or tacked. Keep up the good work!

I love this video and am ready to get started on recovering my two tub chairs... not Ikea but very similar. I would love to see the video on the box cushion recovering, when you have the chance. I have never seen bulldog clips used instead of pins and I love the idea! No more pricking of my finger! Thank you!

Please do something with the sound. I have to turn it all the way up in order to hear you speak and then you stop speaking and my ears are blown out with the music which is very very loud and by the way horrible. Hard to watch what otherwise appears to be a very good tutorial by you. Thank you for sharing how you do this.

I was going to say the same thing except I don’t think I heard 1 out of every ten words he said! I’m sure I probably missed something important! It’s not that the music is bad it’s just that I’m more interested in the tutorial that I am a concert! Actually there is one young lady that has no background music and it was wonderful. The music really doesn’t add anything!
