My family has had a home on Sacandaga and we have been coming here every summer since I was 5…I’m now 38! Brought my bf up last week for the first time ever and he met Donna. I had been seeing her at the red barn for years but I found this video to show my bf before I brought him up to my family’s house and when I saw her in the Red Barn last week, chipper and smiling as always, I was fan-girling and got so excited, hehe! It’s always nice to hear the origin story behind a place that you’ve been going to all of your life, along with (even just a snippet of) the life story of the person running the show…who I had interacted with only in passing over the years! You’re a gem, Donna, thank you for preserving such a special place that my family and I will carry memories of for the rest of our lives!! 💜

My family has been eating there for over 50 years. Still my favorite pizza spot to this day. My grandfather aka Adirondack Jack, RIP papa. Introduced me to this place when i was kid and man that taste is phenomenal. Cant forget it or find another place like it.

I grew up in Whitesboro, so Joe's Pizza was the best. There's only one Joe's but several O'Scugnizzo's. However, they are both awesome and unavailable in Wisconsin.

I LOVE Pastabilities!! I went to SU in the 1980s and started going here in the mid-eighties. My girlfriend and I would go for lunch because it's cafeteria style and much more affordable than dinner. I graduated SU in 1988 and miss this restaurant. I came back to Syracuse in 2014 and went to the restaurant for lunch and it's still just as incredible. If you ever visit this city you have to go to this restaurant.
