Ya gotta stay off most of the curbs at RA...Turn 3 you can blast...but 1, 4, 5, 6 and 12 you really need to stay off because they are aggressive and really upset the car. RA is one of my favorite...will be doing this race again tonight.

This video reminds me why I quit playing. Toxicity was bad. Heck one time I made a mistake... Apologized then proceeded to be attacked, ridiculed and reported. Mind you this was over the 12th spot and was an honest mistake. Report didnt go anywhere but still the person was acting like I offended their existence lol.

My pxn v99 still does it I lose complete force feedback then it randomly comes back not sure why

Ive only ran it twice and it was a wreckfest. After watch you do it i think the thing i was missing was that i tended to ease of the throttle when breaking. It seems like this short track you want to get off the throttle quick.

That was a wild ride! I'm going to pass on PCC this week with this weather and this track - glad I could be entertained with your adventure this week!

Fun race there. Very different from mostly European races as you were actually talking to each other and being respectful. Euro races it’s mostly Spanish speakers chirping away. Looked rather scary as it got wetter.

Hey I ran this same combo last night! My race was 100% heavy downpour start-to-end and it made things interesting with Mazdas on a narrow track.

my SR didn’t drop enough at Virginia, now we have PCC at Summit with late rain…

I tried a purchased esports setup, was consistantly 0.25-0.5s a lap faster with the fixed setup with the aston. Im the white aston with the plaid/tartan. Long beach is next and as snoop said soo much drama up in the LBC

It’s called driver 61. I think I used to use some of their classes pretty good by the way.

Nice racing been having a lot of fun In The GT4 at Phillips Island. Problem is my Irating is enough for the top split but I can’t seem to keep up! Lol

This track was a lot of fun...I got bowled in the hairpin but still enjoyed the race...the track, man if you are on the wrong side of center it vacuums you right off into the grass/gravel and wall...

I found my way into one of your videos! Started right behind you (#28.) Unfortunately I got a front row seat for the flipped BMW and took me a while to get around it. I didn't see another GT4 after that. Thanks for creating this content and posting the good and the bad. Still pretty new so these videos give me an idea of what to expect. Been having more fun with having to learn new tracks and cars.

Phillip Island is nice because turns 1-3 take out so many people for you on lap 1!

Seems to me the setup you chose is a little bit too pointy on the front. Not always the best idea for a race. A balanced car is usually faster, more predictable and better with tire usage. I was managing low 35s here this week. It was a nice refresher for me with this track. Last time i ran it was on rfactor 1 in late 2000s

From my experience with the GT4s here it's not the first turn you need to worry about it's usually 2 and 4 on the first lap. Especially near the McLarens they understeer like crazy.

I live a few hours from Thruxton , never heard of it before it came to iRacing , does iRacing not have working start lights? They stayed red the whole race , never noticed that before

I got to go to a race at Auto Club back when it was Nextel Cup. Treated to a Jeff Gordon win. Labor Day weekend and over 100 degrees.

I had two botched attempts at this one the other day so Im glad you posted this before I ran my third. It definitely helped having a more solid line through 12, like you said using all of the flat curbing on the apex. Still managed to get murdered from a car missing their braking point going into the corkscrew on the penultimate lap. Somehow I got that wreck back to the pits without spinning out to eat my meatball. Only lost two positions due to the crash. Barber is a fun challenge but as always Im happy its in the rear view.

Like you I figured I couldn't get enough Daytona and jumped into this one with very little prep time. Turns out medium downforce is NOT the option for this track. Then after 40 minutes of being passed by the whole field my VR blacks out completely while crossing the finish line. VR came back up after I reset in pits but it was all over by that point.

When you crash do you start back at the pits if there are any?

SRF is probably my favorite car on the sim, I'm glad to see it in the ringmeister series and always fun to watch the chaos when new people hop into it lol.

Turning in earlier on turn 7 and making it more of a straight line between turn 7 and 8 helps me. You don't want to be on the brakes at all and have little turning inputs as you crest 7 as the tracks falls away from you there is little traction. I actually apply a small blip of the throttle right there to shift weight to back tires.

Sweet, it's always weird to see my home track in the sim.
