How I Installed the Cross Bars on a 2019 Honda Pilot Roof Rack
Переглядів 41День тому
Here's a shocker. The dealership wanted A SMALL FORTUNE to install the cross bars on the roof rack. I believe they wanted $300. I purchased my own from eBay for $48.97 and installed them in about an hour. ( Carmocarshop part number CM-5820)
I love the shenanigans this kid gets up to. lol

I see movement on the baby monitor. I watch Jake wake up, crawl to the end of his crib, tug the blanket that we drape over the edge inside with him, then do this! lol
My Father's Day Gift

Happy father's day to all the dads busting their humps and doing their best to make it happen. Also to the single moms that have to do both jobs. Remember... At the end of the day, your job is to raise a well adjusted adult. Love you all!

1:41 @@roger0210 Thank 1:15 you for you comment. Yes, translation is causing problems. I bought everything from Crutchfield. Com. "Pioneer" is the brand name of the speakers. At 1:15 you can see the box with all the information. I did use them with adapters. I show all the part numbers from Crutchfield. Com. I am very happy with them so far. I hope this helps. Good luck on your project.
Are u saying that you loosened it by wedging a screwdriver between the mount and the control arm?
@@notreal5299 No. The screw driver just held the motor mount up off of the frame so I could cut the bolt. But please watch the whole video and check out the comments. People provided other solutions that I didn't think of. My favorite was the guy who suggested cutting the motor mount and replacing it with a new after market motor mount which is a two piece design and goes in easily. With 200k on the vehicle, it's probably a good idea to replace them anyway . But if that doesn't appeal to you, you can just use a drift pin to punch out that troublesome stud. Then put it back in during reassembly.
@jimmybs ok. I see now. The screwdriver was just to make clearance for the cut. Ive convinced myself that oem mounts are the way to go. That being said, I don't know if the studs on the toyota mounts have removable studs on them.
@@notreal5299 mine were OEM and had pressed in removable studs. There are many great recommendations in the comments too. Good luck. I hope this helps you out one way or the other.
ex cellent video1 Thanks!!
@@jesustrevino485 you're very welcome. Glad I could help.
Looks good, happy travels 🚙
Aww, that’s too cute!
diazconstruccion did this is like 2 seconds
This same wick works with types E thru I, and also the sole Omni Director model. If anyone's looking for a new wick in a pinch it might be easier to search for "Director" rather than combing through search results looking for a single letter match. Those dedicated wick shops are great but you'll wait a while to get your wick. As for cracking the window, the manual says it's not necessary in a house of "typical construction" because ingress through leaks will provide enough oxygen. It's a tight well-insulated house where you need to crack the window. Do not use in a bathroom or closed small bedroom. In that case you'd need to open the door to the hallway. Obviously have a working CO detector. "Duh."
@@core251 Great info. Thankyou for your comment.
He's playing peekaboo 😊
Good news that tractor is made in Japan. Iseki is the manufacturer. The diesel engines are made by Isuzu! These are high quality machines🧑🏽🔧
Oh and yes Iseki is a brand in the Corp you mentioned, as is Massey Ferguson 🤗
@@iamme9138 that's GREAT news. Thanks for the info!
It needs a rafter hook.
My neighbor across the street years ago devided his garage and the first part was living space. He died from kidney failure and the new neighbor turned it into living space because he has more than one family living in his house.
Looks delicious, i would add some red onion and tomato slices. 😊
But which router bit did you use to scramble the eggs?

Couldn’t you just leave the siding on the outside and cut the hole with the reciprocating saw ? Why remove the siding first?
Two reasons. 1, the window had built in J channel. It would have been extremely difficult to cut the hole in the plywood big enough for the widow to fit, yet small enough for the siding to fit right all while making it level. 2, the joints on the siding were too close to each other in quite a few places. It was never installed properly and likely to leak. By removing it, I was able to rearrange the pieces and make it so the seams weren't too close. So it made installation of the window easier and fixed the siding guys incompetence. Thus killing two birds with one stone. 😊
@@jimmybs excellent! Thank you for sharing !
GREAT JOB! You just inspired me to do the same. Thanks!

Maybe not saying Mama but looking like Mama !! He's a cutie!
I love video.
cute baby boy.
But how do you stand the belt up?
On this particular machine . There is a bolt to hold it in place. I loosened it just enough so that I can swing it up and down with some effort. Your's may be different. Is it a craftsman?
@@jimmybs Yes, and it's very similar.
@@williamkaczmarek3996 next time I visit my workshop, I'll make a short video on it.

I’m not comfortable with the demolition part. And I want the garage to still look like a garage from the outside to avoid permits etc. I’m thinking and tell me if this is dumb- to leave the garage door on and build a wall inside right up against it almost. Is that ok?
I've seen it done before. Some people build it just far enough back from the door to fit a lawn mower. Honestly, it's a little sketchy. But as a " temporary " structure? Why not?😂
Why didn’t you keep the factory amp? It was already wired to speakers, and your new Alpine has pre-outs to go to the amp. My sequoia has 10 speakers so I want to make sure I don’t lose any by bypassing the amp.
The factory head unit and factory amp had a proprietary plug that also had power wires and remote wires "keyed power" built in to them. Also , the alpine used RCA style Jack's for the low line level outputs. The factory amp just had wires in a plug. I suppose I could have figured out which wires did what and t'd off of the appropriate wires. But I've lost some hearing from years of abusing my ears. I want to keep the what I have left. Also , the plug and play wire harness adapter was set up for eliminating the factory amp. That was too easy for me to pass up. Are you replacing your stereo? Are you going to keep the factory amp? If so, I would love to see a video of it or hear back from you on how the install went. Also on how well it worked. Thanks for watching and commenting. Have a good one.
Thanks for the quick reply! I’m just doing research so far. I have a 2006 Sequoia Limited with Nav, DVD video, steering controls, 10 speakers, etc. Trying to make sure I can upgrade without losing anything.
@@marks_02 I also have a 2008 Highlander with what I think is the same sound system. If it is, the amp is under the driver's seat? Crutchfield recommended NOT CHANGING it. Lol. I don't know where you're buying your stuff from, but Crutchfield's website and chat saved me a ton of research. They actually know their stuff. Even if you don't buy from them, I recommend using them for info.
@@jimmybs yes it sounds like Crutchfield certainly provides value, especially with those wiring harnesses. Thank you for all your help and time.
You have to use tape if wire color different from insulation
