@@JediJBondAloha. I think we got both mistaken. Grab driver was asking me about the drop point at Terminal 3. I knew its was gate 5 because as it was mentionned during Online Check-in I'm sure you will like your future flights in Business with SIA

I think that airlines are used to have huge gaps between pushback and take-off in JFK early evening. There are lots of departures to Europe from 5PM. If you check the schedule, flight time from JFK to London Heathrow is usually about 7 hours. But that schedule includes the huge traffic because in reality, the flight only lasts 6 hours. So, despite this huge traffic, flights usually arrive on schedule in London. The connection on the following flight (if there is) is safe and no compensation because the flight is "never late" Thank you for your comment and for viewing the video 👍🙏

So far, I never had bad experience with Air Austral Business Class. The catering is usually very good, I like their protocole of service. The bed and seat are comfortable despite the fact that I have to jump over the neighbour when I want to go to toilets. Air Austral is a small carrier so I understand that there is not a wide choice of programs. But frequent travellers can easily get bored. I'm not a breakfast guy but maybe if it's better, I could eat more 😁 Thank you for the comment

Extra cost on this particuliar flight was: Zero Weird, isn't it? Let me explain. The did this Singapore - Hong Kong leg after a 3-hour transit in Changi from London. When you book London-Hong Kong on SIA website in First Class: - London to Singapore: there's always First Class - Singapore to Hong Kong: it depends on the aircraft A380 and B777-300ER: First Class A350: no First Class So, if you select an A380 or 77W flight, you will have a First Class fare But, if you select an A350 flight, the fare will be approximately the same For the same fare, you can have a First Class ticket On the website, there are also flights operated by SIA LCC Scoot. The funny thing is that the fare isn't much cheaper from London. Thank you for the comment

@ thank you. I’m coming from LAX to HKG via SIN. The flight from LA doesn’t have first class so I was curious about trying it just from SIN-HKG. But can’t figure out how to do that on their website. Thinking maybe they will offer the chance for a paid upgrade after booking. At least a lot of other airlines tend to do that.

@@grahamlee7886 The problem is that the longest leg (LAX - SIN) is not issued in First Class. It's hence quite impossible to find SIN-HKG in First class online. I think you can upgrade to First Class but the the best thing to do is indeed contact SIA. If you want to buy a simple ticket SIN-HKG-SIN, fare from Business to First is double. Keep us posted if you can upgrade to First. It's a real experience to do

@@luxuryavgeekthank you. Some carriers in the US allow you to “mix” cabins when you purchase online however it doesn’t seem to be the case with Singapore Airlines. Yeah the price for that leg alone is waaaaayyy more expensive if you just price it out by itself…

Air Austral is now own by a majoriry of private investors. This is a very good airline and I hope it will still fly for many more years. They now focus on Bangkok destination. During holidays, they increased to three weekly flights and significant and improved service in Business and Premium Economy marketed flights Thank you for the comment 🙏

Air France B777-300ER Carribean version are equipped with 468 passengers: 14 Business / 32 Premium / 422 Economy (in a 3-4-3 layout) You can find these versions on flights to Reunion, Mauritius, French Indies, some destinations in the Carribean, Montreal or Bangkok I'm myself amazed because I thought that only B 747-400 can have more than 450 passengers Now I understand why airlines like B777-300ER: a lot of passengers AND a lot of freight. More efficient with only two engines

I honestly don't understand why. Four daily flights from Heathrow, all of them equipped with First Class. Thai Airways flies twice a day from Heathrow and yet, they still have buggy service

The buddy who was travelling next to me (not the same trolley and not the same FA) didn't have sauce or vinaigrette either. So you are gifted in reading in people's mind AND seeing what doesn't exist.
