He’s definitely not as bad as mori, maybe a close second but I wouldn’t say that Dazai has done all he has because he wanted to, he was TAUGHT by mori that k!lling is the way to survive in the mafia. He was taken in as a child by mori after an attempt and he was still a child, the ability that mori had over him to make him his perfect little creation heavily impacted dazai successfully, which is why Mori is afraid of dazai, his attempt to make dazai the perfect prodigy was a little TOO successful.

I agree with you guys but we aren’t sure if mori was entirely responsible for how Dazai turned out, what if dazai was ‘broken’ before Mori because we still don’t have a ‘backstory’ for Dazai. Mori saw potential in dazai, a flower that needed to be nurtured and his plan worked a little too well and he became afraid of his ‘hardwork’. Also! What I meant by ‘worse than Mori’ actually meant that mori really isn’t that much of a threat that’s shown in the episode where fyodor or explodes the car, Mori wasn’t able to protect himself, sure he’s a mafia boss but he’s simply a curious doctor so i still stand on the fact that IN EVERY WAY dazai is FAR worse than Dazai, it’s shown with how Dazai treated Akutagawa, we weren’t shown Mori physically abusing Dazai so I cannot comfirm he didn’t. He might have manipulated him verbally but never physically (from what i remember) Still, dazai was a child and he didn’t deserve whatever ‘treatment’ he got and that did affect him but until we’re sure of dazai’s past we can’t entirely BLAME Mori
