    I been recently "working" my jab in game in the sense that i wouldnt give my opponent time to breathe between lowering their head health It was really having good effect, and in most cases a obvious snowball appeared Leading to a clean ko (no ground and pound) I would say this is highly effective so long as you keep in mind not to trade with it so much as you just pressure with it This video was giving me some new techs to use with this

  • @Valchrist1313

    Fight Night Champion was such a great boxing game, but the straight right haymaker was way too overpowered. It caused reliable flash knockdowns. In that game you could get a rare instant KO, or you can get up a total of four times. Not many players can pull off the 4th get-up. So the meta became to build a max height, max power boxer and spam leaping straight rights. I got really good at head movement, chaining counter-punch combos against these guys. This lead to a 10 round fight where my opponent threw 71 punches. Only 7 landed for 4 flash KOs and an instant KO for the finish. Meanwhile, I landed 87 counter punches (you could do a double counter-punch combo off the hook). I literally land more counters than the guy threw punches. I landed another 130 or so punches, for something like 200 lands in 250 punches in a 10 round fight. It was over 80% accuracy versus below 10% accuracy. But simple broken game design game the guy who threw literally one type of punch, no matter how hard he got countered for it.

    • @Yawkley
      @Yawkley 4 дні тому

      The power straight in FNC was criminal. I never understood how players could enjoy only throwing one punch. Still a great game despite it though.

      @@Yawkley The straight thing was compounded by the hitboxes seemingly not mattering to the physics. His thumb brushes an inch from your ear and it still sends you to the mat with the identical impact to a square hit. I'm desperate for a Fight Night sequel, though. FNC had a similar problem like you showed here. Let's say you stumble them, they back to the ropes, maybe wiff a desperate haymaker and you land a 6 punch combo, except the first one knocks them out. The other 5 huge punches in that combo just don't count, and because every knockdown is pretty much identical, he can stand up in 2 seconds flat. I haven't enjoyed the latest UFC games, actually. I still prefer to play UFC 3 and even 1 to the newer ones.

    What a phenomenal video. Do you have another channel or anything? It feels like a waste to have this level of editing, script writing, knowledge, and charisma be used only on UFC 5 once a month

    • @Yawkley
      @Yawkley 4 дні тому

      I only have the one channel. I wish I could upload faster, in fact I intended to have a video out a few weeks ago but real life has been kicking my ass lately. My videos are pretty labor intensive, but I'm also very inefficient right now. I've been tinkering with video editing for around a year now and I could do a lot to improve my workflow and overall skill. I do have ideas for other games/topics and I would like to do some slightly more ambitious videos in the future. Whether that's on this channel or a new one I don't know as of yet. I'm glad you liked the video, I appreciate the feedback as I'm in a weird place where I can see I'm doing some things right, but I also find more to criticize in my videos as I slowly gain more editing knowledge.
