Sorry, read your comment late. If you haven’t purchased a power amplifier yet, go for an amplifier with more RMS power. 600W-800W RMS. Usually, amplifiers are labeled with their peak power. If it says PX8, 800W is the peak power. In reality, it only handles 400W RMS. Hope this helps.

saurabh daundairiya The CBR15 is rated 500w continuous and 1000w peak. They are power hungry. My amp that drove these speakers was 800W @ 8ohms RMS, but still i see occasional clipping on the amp if pushed harder. I would recommend you pair it with amps rated at 1000W @ 8ohms RMS or higher. Thare are power amps now with Class D or TD circuitry that are smaller and much lighter in weight. Class AB or Class H are very heavy to move around.

Yes. Good enough to be compared with active speakers. You can push passive speakers with a more higher wattage power amps more than actives. The only good features actives have are portability and on-board dsp.

Thank you very much for your answer from Argentina, I saw a pair at a fraction of the cost of an active speaker of yamaha brand (dxr10) and most of the people tell me to go with de dxr10, I am thinking to pair the pair of cbr15 with the Yamaha p5000s amp, it will be enough power (500 rms in 8 ohms per side) if I go with the dxr10 surely I think that I will need a subwoofer...
