2020 Pro XP Secondary Clutch
After my cursed White wash trip. I went with a Mother Clutcher secondary clutch for my 2020 pro Xp Rzr. The failure I had on the secondary was identical to the first failure I had a few years ago. My rzr has around 5500 miles on it, I would guess the first primary failed around 2500-3000 miles. I went with mother clutcher due to the fact they have worked well on my parents rzrs, and I had replaced my primary with a mother clutcher after I started burning belts after upgrading the stock primary with new weights and spring. Ideally you will want to pull the bolt out with an impact gun. I'm not sure if the tool I used to hold the clutch was the correct tool, but it was in the factory tool kit and worked while out camping so i figured I'd use it again.

I change the fuel filter on my 2023 silverado 3500 Duramax. All you need is a drain pan, 36 mm socket, the new filter should include the new gaskets you need to change.
Cursed weekend at White Wash Sand Dunes

Short Video of our cursed weekend camping at the White Wash sand dunes. It started before we even left due to having to postpone our trip by a day, due to weather postponing real life work. Still had a great weekend with friend's and family just not much footage to show for it. Check out the short from 9/20/24 for the only footage from getting stuck and recovered. #offroad #adventure #rzrproxp ...
Is the Samurai a ticking time bomb
Переглядів 1682 місяці тому
We take the Samurai and dirt bike out to check out the changing leaves. Cam crashed on the dirt bike and broke the clutch lever off. She's fine other than a bruised hand and ego. Then the Samurai started smoking out the exhaust. My hope is it is just unburnt fuel in the exhaust, since it was mostly when coasting downhill for extended periods, and would clear up once we would start climbing. Tem...

#offroad #adventure #samurai #bonneville #automobile Me and my sister head out to the Salt Flats for the day to watch speed runs, we hang with the family friends doing some record runs. Didnt film a ton in the pits, and the heat was a bit much to cruise around in the sammy. They did break 2 records during the week, not sure what class or anything. the first record was set at 330 MPH, and they h...

Samurai gets new rear brake shoes, fuel pump and some tire plugs
Переглядів 1174 місяці тому
Plugged 2 holes in one of the Samurai tires, put new rear brake shoes, and a new fuel pump. Planning on new brake cylinders and maybe drums since the rear brakes still arent great. Fuel pump seems to have fixed the oil leak, and the tires plugs are holding. #offroad #samurai #offroading #suzuki

Testing the new shocks on the samurai
I like my 3k carb as well, I got it from the same place as you, night and day difference in how it runs, iam very pleased....I recently talked to an engine builder because i need to rebuild my motor, it was very tired , even prior to the 3K swap, the builder told me that he has a pile of 1,3 motors to rebuild, and he says a lot of them are due to the 3K carb,he says they run too rich and wash the cylinder walls down with fuel, but i just dont know about that, I would hope to think that Certified Machine & Desighn would have properly jetted that carb accordingly, and i know they test all the carbs before sending them out, what are your thoughts on that?, is your motor still doing ok?....I know this video is 5 months old....thanks for the video....very cool....what suspension you running?. thanks again...John NC
Last time I took it out, I was up in the mountains and it started smoking pretty bad from the exhaust, mainly when coasting downhill. It didn't really smell like burning oil or coolant. A few days later I got it up to temperature and drove around town and it seemed fine. I think it does run extremely rich at idle and low rpm so I could see prolonged idling causing problems. I believe the suspension is a rocky road outfitters 8 inch coil kit, it was installed when I bought it.
Shoot I was hoping for this Carb to work better than the stock. I guess I'll keep looking for better. Thanks for the review.
what suspension? is it stable for highway driving? thinking about converting mine from leaf to coil.
I'm pretty sure it is an 8-inch coil conversion from rocky road outfitters, it's not the most stable due to the lift height. Running 33 inch tires and stock gears it tops out around 50 m.p.h
Thats unfortunate. At least you still had a good time. These sxs issues is why im building one out of an old suv because if parts break a parts store will most likely have the parts to fix. Moab is beautiful country out here in utah. Utah has a lot of beautiful country whether up north or down south.
I know I need new bushings but cant tell where the play is all coming from. Thinking I might just knock out the Wheel bearings and Keller ball joints at the same time. only 2700 miles
Mine didn't have much play, but I could hear a squeak on one side. I figured if I'm getting that torn apart might as well do everything.
Waste of my time
Hello, warm greetings from the province of Pontassieve in Florence, Italy. I am the respected owner of a Suzuki Jimmy 4x4 with a m13a 1.3 LT petrol engine, petrol, completely original, year 2001. It is indeed completely original, which I often drive on country roads and forest roads, and with the appropriate mud tires it will also do me good. The Suzuki Jimmy 4x4, although completely original, I see it is in its natural habitat when I approach rural farm roads and forest roads that are used by logging companies to transport wood in logging trucks.
Should air down your tires a bit
I think in that video, I had them around 15 psi. I currently have them around 10 and can probably go lower without issue, but I am a little worried about breaking a bead.
This really sucks, i was glad to finally find a video on spark plugs and wires on the bronco 2, but he doesn’t even show the process on the replacement, he just skips that part
sounds fun🎉
Fish fear him
What a Fish! 😂 I am a horrible fisherman
How was the gimbal adjustment? I'm Brazilian and I'm building my Suzuki, due to the 37 tires I had to lift the jeep a lot, it's very difficult to find a cardan with a CV joint
The lift and everything was already installed when I purchased the Samurai, it does have a double cardan on the rear drive shaft, and regular u-joint for the front driveshaft
That rain at the end was pouring!
What ball joint removal kit do you have , I would like to buy the same so I know that the sleeves fit properly?
I think it's Icon brand from harbor freight, I'll try and remember to look when I'm at the shop to make sure
Great adventure! :)
cool great videos
super cool!
sweet done my 88.5 few years back i like it
Need the harley cv carb, won't have issues on the hills
I was intentionally trying to find my stall points for comparison. Next upgrade would be propane or fuel injection. It also made me realize how horrible the rear brakes perform
Que espirales usaste?
It has a coil conversion kit from rocky road outfitters, as far as I know. it's an 8 inch lift. The kit was already installed when I purchased the Samurai
Oh lord Jesus, it's a fir
Great footage of the work your doing, where is the outside footage and stance of the Samurai?
Need these
got to love the snow in May
Its all slowly coming together
testing carb
You got some good flexing on that samurai. Cool video man..
Fun time
Do you still like it
I do, I run the big packout cooler, with a thin storage on top. has a little room around the sides and back for my recovery rope trail, shovel. Only issue I have had is the latch for the cooler getting dust in it making it difficult to remove, only if i go on multiple rides without removing and cleaning.
Suzuki samurai
Very cool! Keep up the videos coming!
Thanks for the support
Not to sure what that double carden driveline came from, but you might want to try a transmission flange from a tracker.
Im not fully sure either most of the mods were installed when i bought it. I've been trying to go through and correct them as i need to. To me, the double carden is completely unnecessary since the driveline angle doesn't seem that bad.
Man that thing sure likes to die on an incline huh!? Start looking for a Suzuki sidekick with the 1.6 16V engine to swap into yours 🤘😎🤗
Its on my to do list, i keep going back and forth on the 1.6 for fuel injection the vw tdi swap, or rebuild the 1.3 and go propane, i kinda like the idea of an under powered rig.
You could always just drop a 1.6 8v EFI head onto the 1.3 and get Petroworks to make you a harness
1 money cycle can probably get your soap and rinse 😊
You'll be ready to spruce up my 89 Ranger when you're done with these!
Or maybe I'll come borrow some parts from it
Samurais are not the smoothest ride or the fastest, but they are definitely fun
Most definitely, I am hoping to replace the 4 blown shocks that will help the ride a little
Nice fabrication skills buddy boy. She'll be ready for some Spring trails in no time.
Fun stuff
😂
👍👍
Do you have to install a toyota transfer case to run toyota axles? I can't seem to find a straight answer
I am not sure, I wouldn't think so. It would depend if the differential was on the correct side. Custom drivelines would most likely be needed
😮
❤
Your camera person needs a raise!
