My name is Maja Lindström Kling, I’m an independent filmmaker. I make these films because I'm in love with the idea that us humans can join a partnership wih nature to heal and restore what we have exploited and destroyed. The need for healing have several layers in my life. One is I’m a board member of Agroforestry Sweden (agroforestry.se) and in this context I promote agroforestry in different ways for its extreme benefits to improve the resilience in food systems. Since 2018 I work with interview based films to learn more on the subject, these films are very low or no-budget films. In this way I get the possibility to meet brave pioneers, people I think have ideas that are central for what we need to acknowledge and adopt into our lives and communities as part of the big paradigm shift, where we learn how to live within our planetary boundaries. Stunning intro music! Edit: after having now seen the film I can add that it´s entrely stunning! One of the best I´ve seen on the subject, with a beautiful synthesis of aesthetics, philosophy/reflection and education. The way it manages to make simultaneously an intimate portrait of Anders, and an educational piece about agroforestry. I´m hyped at having found this awesome channel, this is the second film I watch so I have a few to look forward to :)

When asked to add polish subtitles to this film I also added some new film cuts from Wakelyns Agroforestry, filmed during my visit there this summer. "Enterprise stacking" - inviting local businesses to establish on the farm (a CSA, a bakery etc) is now part of the managing. Many thanks Maksymilian Roszyk for the the polish translation and a nice collaboration. Conventional farming (clear-cutting forests and plowing up everything) is the worst environmental culprit. Extremely bad for any environment.
The passion for the rebuilding of forest soil and creating a future from it is purely inspirational from this wonderful couple. It's now clear to me ( an ex industrial farmer) that forest gardening and farming are our only hope as a species to redress the massive imbalances that land clearing agriculture has created.

No cultural criticism here -- I am trying to do exactly the same thing here in the UK !
Även om man 2023 ser andra förklaringar på hur samhället fungerar och varför, så är ett ekologiskt hållbarhetstänk fortsatt attraktivt och realistiskt. Jag tror numer att såväl Peak Oil som klimatkrisen är påhittade kriser för att få befolkningen att må dåligt och därigenom acceptera diverse inskränkningar av sina rättigheter. Däremot är jag övertygad om att vi måste gå tillbaka till att skapa reella värden med vårt arbete. Hela världen kan inte förtjäna sitt levebröd genom att sitta och digitalt förflytta påhittade värden. Vi måste lägga kraft på att skapa sådant som faktiskt behövs för livet, och värdera detta högt: odla mat, hålla djur, ta fram fibrer som kan ge kläder om man vet hur de ska bearbetas, bygga bostäder, förvalta hälsan, ta hand om barn och gamla, och alla däremellan med speciella behov. Resten är krafs.
All good, but climate change and all the fuss about it is hoax.
