Hi Faith, you are so right. I am a Pharmacy owner and the conditions with our finances are so poor we are all struggling . The stress of being a Pharmacist with all the roles are very demanding and what's more there are more services being added without address to the real issues. I feel very let down by our negotiating teams and the our pay masters.

When I started my first career I walked in and would speak to others but I didn't engage in much conversation. Within three weeksi knew who I could be friendly with on a real level. Minus one (I found out years later was jealous of me coming to work and actually working plus being jealous that I got good grades in my prerequisites for school) I have those same friends to this day even though I haven't work there in years. I'm applying this same method when I start working as a pharmacist.

This man is dangerous to women, especially vulnerable patients. He must not work in community ever. I am furious thst disciplinary commitee says things like "it was an attempt to start dating". Just shows their misunderstandment of the nsture of sexual violence. It is the power play. He did it at work to increase the effect of the fantacy, because there he has litersl power over the dispenser. That woman did right by reporting him, she protected other women, since he most definitely tried it out begore and would do it again in another branch.

I have an situational judgment exam next week and have a question: Is it appropriate to leave your pharmacy to retrieve the wrongfully dispensed drug? Here do u say you would have done so as it’s a controlled drug and in light of the context? When would it not be appropriate to leave the pharmacy after dispensing the wrong dosage?

Im 8 weeks 5 days today and i felt lightning crotch for the first time. I googled it and apparently its felt more in the last trimester. It kinda scared me cuz this is my 4 pregnancy and ive never had it start that early.

Omg at 5:40, I did the exact same mistake. Asked them how many staff they were, and they gave me a good number. And on the day of my interview, the pharmacy was actually sufficiently staffed. However when I started most of the pharmacists I had met during the interview were suddenly working at other pharmacies, so I was essentially doing the work of 3-4 people. I also ended up working with mostly unqualified staff which made things more draining. Ended up quitting in the end as the workload was just too much.

And may I ask what is the most common salary that a new qualified pharmacist can earn, and how is the progression in the role of community pharmacist? Coz the promotion opportunities in community seems not quite apparent…

hello faith, is it still worthy to study pharmacy nowadays? My AL grades will allow me to choose several law schools and pharmacy schools which is both interesting to me. I am pretty concern about that many pharmacist are talking about the low wages of community pharmacist(which most of the pharmacy graduates enter) or even hospital pharmacists. Even though some said the locum pharmacist can make a lot but it seems like it is not that easy to be a locum pharmacist after fresh grad, what is the essential experience or academic background needed to become a locum pharmacist that can earn a lot today? I may describe myself a bit of money chaser though as my family bg is not that great and rely looking forward to earn more…. Do you have any advice for me?

You have survived a vertical learning curve. Sadly, in my lifetime of experience, we, as healthcare workers are thrown into the deep end and expected to sink or swim. You were able to get out of the pool and catch your breath. Wishing you the best. You needed at least twice the staff to perform the responsibilities asked. Hi, I am an European Pharmacist, and I can confirm with what you said that the process I went through was not that difficult, after 3 months of training I was ready to start working on my own as a Pharmacist. The Canadian relocating process to work as a Pharmacist seem quite long and a lot but I guess it's worth it. I heard the salary is definitely better there. Great content I enjoyed every part of it! Do I have to do a conversion course? Do I have to write the license exam? If so what is the cost? Which one is easier to transition to, as I'm currently studying in the Philippines and I plan to practice either in the Uk or in Canada. Also, I heard the competition to get into practice in both countries are quite high, is that true? Do you think practicing Clinical pharmacy in either countries is worth it? What advise would you give me, prior to transitioning. I'm currently in my 3rd year by the way
