Redheads cause GoPro to go for a swim

Group of redheads drop in, I try to catch them on the way out and a misstep plus recoil causes the GoPro to go in the drink. Thankfully because of the headstrap it sank slow enough for me to catch it.

Prescribed Burn in Longleaf Pine Stand
Переглядів 12 тис.9 років тому
January 21, 2015 Prescribed burn in planted longleaf pine stand. Objective is to remove as much loblolly pine competition as possible and "clean up" the stand.
Great video, thumbs up! :D I have subbed to your channel so I would appreciate if you could return the favor :)
Don't incriminate yourself to much. :-) Don't want to be doing a head fire before getting your back fire black lines in. Was that about 80 acres? That's the way to do it though. Brings back memories. :-)
+John Smith Not 80 acres. Can't remember the size right now but not 80.
+John Smith I see a piece of burnt dog fennel on the right, but otherwise don't see anything. Squatch maybe?
Were those Loblolly seedlings also 2 years old? Longleaf still looked like early grass stage..needed that burn.
Andy C Loblolly seedlings were various ages since they seeded in from the surrounding stand. Most were 2 years old but there was probably a 3 year old cohort in there too along with some 1 year olds. And yes, longleaf was all still in the grass stage. Thanks for watching!
Were you using those ATV paths as firebreaks?
Dylan Reilly Yes, but they're specifically constructed as firebreaks. They're either old dozer lines that have been tilled with a PTO tiller behind a tractor or field edges that have been tilled. Soft as a pillow and the cleanest firebreak you can get!
