I love Vidoll’s jazzier tunes ! Gothikaroid is a heavier example but this is so pretty . I usually am not a big jazz fan but I already like Vidoll so I am more likely to listen. I love the Gazette’s jazzy tunes too ! Visual kei bands are amazing musicians who can play many genres . That’s one of the things I admire most about Japanese musicians. And I love how emotional visual kei bands are too. It’s very soothing to listen to this song 🎧

Beegie is a wonderful jazz pianist, but Les Feuilles Mortes (Autumn Leaves) is not her composition. It is a song by French composer Joseph Kosma, and originally sung by Yves Montand in the 1940s. That said, Beegie delivers a highly accomplished rendition and I thank gaso for uploading it.

I just knew that there was a special reason that I enjoy playing rhythm background for many of Beegie's lovely, flowing "American Songbook" arrangements. Thanks to Nathalie Connor below, maybe it's because I turned 83 on my birthday on 12/11/19! I think back on all of the wonderful jazz and vocal artists in those days, days when the typical juke boxes had these fantastic songs on them and oh yes, our romantic memories were so meaningful! Wouldn't trade those happy times for anything!!
