Bita Armaments
United States
Приєднався 9 лип 2021
Bita Armament is a life long dream of mine. For now, Bita is entertainment purposes only and will continue to evolve into the dream of a firearms manufacturer, dealer, engineering and whatever the future holds.
About the name, when Riri was 2 years old she loved the "Itsy Bitsy Spider" song however she had difficulty saying it. "Itsy Bitsy Spider " always sounded like "Bita, Bita, Bita" and so came the name for the dream.
About Jason; Jason has been a firearms enthusiast nearly from birth, from twirling cap guns to building rifles to working for Bita Armaments. Jason has completed numerous courses involving Law Enforcement related firearm qualifications such as National Institute of Justice's Firearms Examiner, Firearm Specialist Academy's Advanced Firearm technology and similar works while employed at a Law Enforcement agency as an Evidence Specialist and Deputy Sheriff.

Milwaukee Torch Blade vs mobile home frame- the review
Who are those women talking in the background of your video? Just curious.
It was a UA-cam video, I believe she was going by Dogtective at that time.
Oh thanks. I thought the voices were infiltrating your video or something.
@@xVicissitudesx no problem. I like talk radio and often turn on UA-cam videos that I can just listen to for back ground noise since good talk radio is hard to find.
Cool cool.
I understand all your equipment on your belt...but wtf do you need a pig sticker for....a knife that long should be a bayonet
It’s easier to clean than the expandable baton, can help when blazing a trail through vines (in a pinch) and makes a good marker or improvised stake. Honestly, it’s on the smaller size to be more convent to carry.
@@bitaarmaments8004 I've got a pocket knife ( folder) that I carry on my vest, a fixed blade has a little bad optics, like having a scope on a patrol rifle
In our area it’s not uncommon to see fixed blades on people. We’re even getting used to the Florida statute allowing open carry while hunting/fishing. So far, I’ve been asked more about carrying a gun (on duty, in uniform) than about carrying a good knife.
My agency issued me a vest that’s been expired by 3 years I still use it lmao I think it’s time for a new one after watching this.
Probably should, they most like aren’t rendered ineffective on their expiration but they probably move liability off themselves if you’re wearing an expired one.
Glad to see three mags, keep seeing officers .go to two mags
Two on the belt and one in the gun is normal, most law enforcement pistols come with a total of 3 mags. Nearly half our agency runs the tripple mag pouch and we have to purchase our fourth mag for it. Back when we were still running .40, I'd have another couple of mags loaded in the car as well, but I'm just not a fan of additional 9mm glock mags near all the .40 mags I already have.
@@bitaarmaments8004 Could I ask a question please? Every time your tears changes do you have to go for retraining?
@@NamasW24 if your asking if we prequalify when we change calibers, yes. We almost treat it like qualifying on the serial number of the gun rather than caliber/platform.
What vehicle did you get assigned to? And I am going into high school and doing a class called criminal justice and what should I mostly be worried about to learn the jist of it? thanks!
Learn it all but expect it to be different once you do an agencies in house and different again when you’re riding with a field trainer. Take the best and what you believe to be right from all three and do the best you can.
It's a BOBCAT silly Dog ! Don't worry it won't scratch you. It might run you over, but it won't scratch!! Lol....
take that knife off of there. Im cool with carrying a knife somewhere hidden but that placement and the amount of attention that knife brings is dangerous.
While that is an opinion, it’s not one I share.
Is it necessary to have 2 duty belt
Not at all. I started the nylon for target practice and let it evolve over the years. The basket weave is what my agency likes, so it’s a mix of agency and what I learned to like from my target belt. Then they became interchangeable so training reflects work.
Having the second belt lets me get one nasty and still have one clean for working.
What baton do you use / recommend? Thank you!
Well I’m kinda an Asp fanboy. My baton certification included an Asp cert, I run the Asp handcuffs and when I buy batons, I tend toward Asp. That said, I was issued a Monadnock and I really like the grip on it and it’s been trusty for the past 6 years. I’d carry either one.
Need a Safelife Defense Belt
Need our agency to authorize load bearing vest and then maybe we can get nylon belts too.
Simple, concise and effective. Time to go get one of these!
Based on the nub on the inside I’d say the batteries go down! Why not just READ THE INSTRUCTIONS first
Where is the fun in that? (I actually did, but saying I didn’t was more fun for me.)
Your department must not allow you to wear MOLLE vest carriers. Thank God mine do. When I came on the Job in 89 we carried everything on the belt even though it wasn't as much stuff as we carried now over time it made me have back problems. Be safe Brother. 🇺🇸👮♂️
How long did it took you to cut it all off
I cut it up in one day
You ever go thru with the porting man? I got a dirt cheap single shot that kicks like a mule and has ridiculous muzzle flip that I'm gonna port and im gathering intel before i have at it
I haven’t had time to mess with that project lately. Hopefully this rotation of day shift will let me enjoy some projects. I’m no machinist, but I watch a few on UA-cam, and questions I can help with?
Clipping your remote speaker mic should never be clipped to your radio antenna. It puts too much stress on the antenna.
What fixed blade are you running and how is it mounted ?
It’s the short KaBar and the sheath is tied to the belt with cord. It’s been a good setup over the last few years.
And a nice “ arm rest “ lols
First comment! Also nice video!!
Why do you have a double cuff pouch behind your back and why that k bar knife 🔪 🤔 that's insane idk what department allows that wouldn't that interfere with your vest
It’s an Asp single cuff pouch, Asp cuffs have the overmold so they are a bit thicker and take a slightly bigger pouch. Running around the woods, a good knife is important and a baby Ka-Bar has been really good for me over the years.
Speaking of newer, stiff belts, it looks like Safelife Defense just released a basketweave molle version, I’ve been rubbing a stretchyyyy basketweave molle belt from x duty belts this year
How have your ASP handcuffs been holding up? Does your whole department use them? It would be really cool if you did a stand alone video on those!
That’s a great idea, I’ve been wanting to get the new hinge cuffs with the button double lock. Over all, they are holding well. My only complaint is when the jail returns them, they slide them under the door and it’s very rough on the plastic. For as much salt air exposure and only oiling them 1-2 year, they don’t show as much rust as the peerless hanging in my car. I still like them over the alternatives I’ve experienced.
Ummm the world might end that’s not star link
It’s super poor quality iPhone video with a very bright moon off to the right. It looked much cooler in person.
Thank you for the shout out!
Any time!
Oo scuba diving
It’s one my three hobbies I had before becoming a parent. I’m fortunate enough to work where i can do gun stuff and scuba diving (not at the same time yet)
Cool
That’s cool
just the other day i was having an idea about pistol mag holster that had them facing like that. Bad thing safariland had stolen my idea tho.
I found two "must have" accessories to enhance versatility of the Streamlight 2L-X. I have carried the 2L-X for many years and for the money there is none better. ~ Look up and order the following : Nitecore Traffic Wand for 25mm Flashlights. Nitecore Colored Filters for 25mm Flashlights. (Red). ~ Both items friction fit tightly and are built to last in EDC / real world field use. I keep the wand in my truck incase I need to signal or direct traffic or mark hazard (you could land a Boeing 747 with it!). The Red Filter is a must have for low light / vison preserving use (other colors available also) ....it friction fits tightly and functions as intended, but can be removed in half a second with a hand swipe to get the flashlight back to immediate white light use. ~ Took me forever to track these two items down, but each could save your bacon when the time came they were truly needed. Figured I would pass the info on to other guys who may be looking to add extra quality made versatility and capability to the fantastic Streamlight 2L-X flashlight. ~ God Bless America!
Did this method work long term?
The lab has anxiety issues and has burrowed through the chain link a few times. However, they haven’t figured out how to get under the chicken wire
You’re music is spooky.
Thanks?
I bought carpet tack strips and tied along the bottom of my fence. Those shap points stopped the dogs quickly.
Great idea....i was brain storming on a version of this but wasnt sure how to connect the chicken wire to the fencing love the addition of the mulch to never thought of that part ....👍🏾
Bastards stoped chrome plating the pump. Lol But we like shinny things. Now it’s a boring pump. 😢
This is police equipment not children play toys!!!!! What happened to plastic stuff!
Reduce, reuse, recycle.
I hope you lock up your weapons? I'm a police officer to 25 years and FTO!
I’m third generation in the same agency. My gear is lawfully secured. 13 years in, with marine, dive and evidence specialties. Thank you for your concern
No one carries a big fix blade.
Pretty much our entire agency runs a fixed blade. I’ve notice a lot of the larger Kabar TDIs and some light last ditch blades. I use it as a tool, such as line cutting, primarily and this mini kabar has treated me well.
y'all don't carry many extra rounds i carry 50 extra rounds magged up and 50 more rounds in a zip lock bag
Now that we’re in 9mm I carry 69 rounds on my belt. I haven’t invested into more mags yet, I really hate that 9 and .40 mags are so identical but it’s probably coming soon. I prefer the adage that my pistol is used to fight my way to my long gun. If you have to go back to your car for ammo, might as well bring something bigger back.

Cool video. I could totally do without the music. It's kind of distracting from what you're saying.
The 2022 video is less musical
Gotta love Leo, great and informative video!
Our Dept. Here in Wisconsin if your right handed. Key holder, oc spray, gun holster, handcuffs then glove pouch. Left side mag pouch, gerber, light, baton and radio. If left handed then just the opsit but same order!
It’s probably nice to have it all uniform but the flexibility to put items in your own order for what you want easiest access for seems like a better deal.
what a interesting view!talk you later~friend-👍
I’ve never understood carrying a knife directly behind the firearm like that. I find the knife is more useful if mounted to the off hand side opposite the firearm.
One of my main reasons for the knifes location is if I’m working on retaining my firearm, I’m also retaining my baton and knife.
What’s up with the die hard with a vengeance song
The two songs are “what do you do with a drunken sailor” and “when Johnny comes marching home.” They are just two tunes that are ear worms for me.
Thank you so much for the review! We love this video!
Thanks. I’ve been using arrest my vest for about 4 years now and it’s as critical to me as energy drinks. Summers in Florida in dark green polyester aren’t the most pleasant odors.
@@bitaarmaments8004 We are so happy to hear that and glad we can help! Would you be willing/interested in sending us this video file so we could use it for video advertisements in the future?
@@OAMSolutions yeah, I just found it on my iPad, probably best to connect through LinkedIn or the bitaarmament gmail.
@@bitaarmaments8004 Okay, great! We just sent you an email.
I bought a 48 after shooting my wife's 43X. Absolutely fell in love with her gun, and when I saw the 48 which was the same but with a longer barrel I was sold! These things rock for concealment!
Y9u have got we have the most realistic toy gun and taser because a Sheriff's office will not let a deputy take a gun to their house and not out the armory if they are off duty
I think I have got a stroke from reading that. While I do have a blank firing replica colt saa, the only toy guns belong to my kids. And since I made this video, we switched to 9mm and I bought my duty gun.
Dang dude you used the whole bottle on that 😂
I think of this comment every other day, when I “use the whole bottle” on my stinky vest.
Can we see what gear she uses in it??
She doesn’t usually keep anything in it, sometimes the pink handle revolver in the profile pic, but she lost the toy cuffs a week after she got them.
Sweet sep up, lm a LEO in South Texas l work for a small department, l keep my duty belt simple like yours, l took my OC spray and radio and placed that on my vest along with a small med kit and TQ, I added an AR mag holder where my radio holder was and l added a third handcuff pouch on the front of my belt where my OC spray was and l'll have the other two pairs behind my back, sometimes l'll arrest or detain up to three people or l get a very large person where l have to use all three pairs of handcuffs. good video man.
My bad I'm I guess I'm to old fashion! I'm 54! I had kids shoot them selfs from their parents unlocked weapons!
Nice duty belt set up good video. I never heard of cops CARRING knives. I'm going on 21 years and I carry a back up 45 ACP COLT COMMANDER IN MY VEST. I CARRY A SIG SAUER P 320 45 ACP IN DUTY?!!!!!
We’re more rural than most in our area would like to admit. In fact, half of our county, you aren’t dressed if you don’t have a knife in your pocket. Most all of us on the patrol side carry a fixed blade of some type. I’ve seen karmbits, t handle daggers, the kabar TDI are popular and everyone has a folder.
Plus in the last month, I’ve been on patrol and had to switch gears to dive a sunk car and just this weekend, search a wooded park on a 4 wheeler.
Thank you for taking the time and making this walk through
