Hi, I have been addicted to UA-cam channels of mixed couples of Chinese and European-American descent. It came as no surprise that UA-cam would recommend your channel to me this morning. I am a Chinese American who served in the US Army for 17 years, married a white girl for one year (we had a boy together. he is with his mom), got out of the military in 2013, and is currently residing in the heart of Los Angeles. I was a medical specialist in the US Army for 9 years and am currently a nursing student at West Coast University (The army sent me back to school after I closed my dry cleaning business at the start of the pandemic). Ironically, while I have never been to Alabama, my bunk buddy from basic training was from Alabama. I remember pulling fire guard with him one night; he couldn't stop talking about his pickup truck and how he went mud-running with his buddies in his pickup truck back home. I must say, he has the most profound, authentic, and native Alabama accent I have ever heard! Being a New Yorker all my life up to that point, his accent was definitely a shocker for me:). Anyway, to make the long story short, my wife and I divorced because of my poor judgment and infidelity. She was a good woman. Even to this day, my mother yells at me for divorcing her. While I do not blame anyone but myself, I do say interracial marriage can be challenging in America. However, you guys seem to have a sound footing. Do everything you can to start off on the right note and build upon that long-lasting bonding, support, and connection. At the end of the day, memories, bonding, support, and connection are the only things that matter... I wish I had digested this wisdom before I divorced my ex-wife. I remember that during our "last chance" conversation, crying on the phone, she warned me of loneliness for leaving her. She was correct. This is not advice; I'm just reflecting on my own misfortunes. I wish you two nothing but the best. I look forward to seeing more traveling and food videos from your channel! Wait! I actually look forward to a nine months and a week pregnancy video series!🙂

I'm a married Chinese Canadian guy with two great kids and a mixed wife of Japanese and Filipino. We've been together for over 13 years and married for almost 10 years.
