Great boat. I sold my Arvor 190 last year and wished I hadn’t. Best boat I’d ever owned. The Nanni engine is bulletproof and it handled like a dream. If I had the money id bite your hand off for it 👍
It’s a very reluctant sale 😢
Ooooh
Very nice, what a day…
@@andrewnewby1918 Yes it couldn’t of been any better 😀👍
I detected a little extra throttle as you went through the old railway tunnel on the 272 😂 great weather
@@timcrew2116 Just gotta be done 😂👍

Great video, thanks for posting. I didn't realise exactly how the town links to the waterside until I saw this, even though I've flown over it in a small plane. The drone gets you even closer!
I’m so glad you liked it. This video was made for a lovely friend of mine whose ancestors ran the pub on the quay 🤗
Hilarious
My dad did that to me, flicked the end of his fag and it landed on me and went straight through my shorts and burned my leg! We didn't realise until it got to my leg! 😂
Smoking is certainly a dangerous pastime 🤣🤣I bet you never let him live that one down 🤔🤔😂

I assume you are happy with the honwave? Im considering one
@@fat_tommo_goes_boating Yes. It’s a great Sib. It’s not been out of its bag for 2 years so I must have a look at it soon 😳😂 I know I’ve got a few punchers to see too
As the other viewers have said a very interesting look around the workings of that vessel. I also liked your drone footage at the start of the video. Thanks for sharing.
@@anotherangleUK 👍I was lucky as my friend was on duty whilst we were there..
Very nice Arvor 190.
@@anotherangleUK Thank you. I’ve been binge watching your videos 👍🎣
@@123boat There's a few hours there. What's your main interest, boats, sea fishing or the other fishing?
@@anotherangleUK The main thing for me is just being out on or near the water. I actually prefer the sibs because I can chuck it in the van and go further afield. You can get to places on the sib you can’t with the Arvor. Saying that it’s been great having the Avor, especially having a kip on it and occasionally getting out of the rain, and I promised myself 2 years with it before I sell it on. This is my last year as long as I can sell it. I love lure fishing for bass. I must get my larger sib out of its storage to see if it’s still seaworthy 🤔😳
Amazing pictures 📸
@@mente33 Thank you 🤗
4:15am? Somebody either got in from the pub and wanted to go fishing, or they got up really early 😂
My farm days have never left me! Used to be up at 4.30 to milk a heard of 120 cows 😃
I often think it's more fun in a dinghy compared to the big boat 😂
Your so right 👍my sentiments exactly 😃🎣

I gave my mooring up after 30 years because i got fed up sitting waiting for the tide 😂
@@fat_tommo_goes_boating I am lucky on that mooring as it’s only a spring low when I have to wait, other than that it’s fine 👍⚓️
@@123boat that's good. I haven't been your way boating for years, I need to go back soon
@@fat_tommo_goes_boating This will be my last season with this boat. I’ll go back to sib or f-rib so I can travel further along the coast. ie back of the van 👍⚓️
@123boat I tow mine since giving my mooring up and I launch in different places I just tend to go further west most of the time
@@fat_tommo_goes_boating Don’t think my van is man enough to tow my boat 🙄😂

Nice trip. I usually anchor on the left hand side just inside Bembridge Harbour, it's deep enough to put the nose of the boat on the sand and step off

How to you find the t38 in the rougher conditions?
Very confident in its ability in roughish seas. This video of mine shows it’s handling in such a sea Please excuse the loud music 🙄 ua-cam.com/video/iqbahg2pmQI/v-deo.htmlsi=e_vO0f4gxn_1ovvp

Even better by the River Dart 👍
I normally launch up the river dart at totnes . It can get quite rough at the mouth.

@@flamintasty I would but I sold mine 🙄
Hello did you pay ateption of whats the fuel consumption of that boat? Best regards
Hi. It has an 85hp Nanni engine. Not sure about the consumption as it depends if the hull is clean or not and how fast you want to travel. I can happily crawl along all day and it’s very cheap to run. Obviously the faster you go it’ll use more fuel. I found this answer on the Avor Facebook site. Not sure how accurate it is though. Scott Willis I’m sure there’s a general rule that is 1 litre per hour per 100 Revs so 2400rpm 24 litres per hour
I don't miss the antifouling and cleaning since I gave my mooring up. Wonderful once its done though
Totally agree. Not the most fun of jobs to do. 👍
Are you based down this way? I will be at the South West Sports Boat Rally in Torquay next bank holiday, we will be passing Berry head a few times
Hi Tommo, I’m based in Hampshire. I just spent a few days down after dropping of the Mrs off In Exeter. Can’t resist going to Berry Head first thing in the morning 👍

Is enny sort of license required for these small boats
Not at all. In fact you can buy just about any size boat in the Uk and not need a licence. If you use a radio then really you should have a licence. Hope that helps
O that helps alot thank you for replying neil
Beautiful day not to Many of them recently
Was only supposed to do a few jobs on the boat then fly the drone but to good an opportunity to miss. 👍

Should use wet hands
What is the tune???

Nice got a T38 with a 20 horse Mariner
I'm not sure whether this has 2500 HP Caterpillar motors or 3200 HP MTU motors, but it just shows she can get off her arse and up to speed pretty quickly.
It’s a Severn class lifeboat. Just found these specs on the internet. 2 × Caterpillar 3412 TA diesel engines, 1,250 hp (932 kW) each or 2 x MTU 10V2000 M94 engines; 1,600 hp (1,193 kW) (after re-engining) UBW 195 V reverse-reduction gearbox 2.03:1 ratio 5,500 litre (1,200 imperial gallons) fuel capacity 👍
@@123boat Yip, that is what I was alluding too.

Hi Ryan. The 9hp is upgraded to 15hp with wider Reed valves and goes up to about 25mph 👍
