I remember doing this mission for the first time with 4 of my bros and my cousin day 1. My cousin was impatient and wanted to jump into the mission without doing the requirements (Still Hunt quest). Despite me saying that he needed to do it to play it, the game didnt stop us from loading into the cutscene. The disappointment and smile disappearing from all our faces when we were all booted to orbit because of *ONE* person after watching all that unfold! 🤣

It's been handled when you choose "Epilogue" in difficulty. :)
Play narrative version of Excision to see the intro cinematic and play Epilogue to just see the cutscenes after witnesses' deafeat

I believe the world first team is always canon in destiny raid story’s. every other runs are a Lapp in time.
