It could be either one of those or a combination of both. I personally dip mine in and out very quickly to prevent getting too much powder. Try that and if your still having an issue then use less heat

Glad I’m not the only one who retires PB baits 😂 pouring lead and making jigs is the perfect winter time hobby but just like soft plastics I lose control and keep buying more and more lol

@@brianlingis2392 are you saying that your color is transparent and you can see the lead ? If so then you just need to add more mica powder to the clear to thicken it up

It’s possible. You would have to do the same process that I did in the custom underspin video and just leave the lead collar so you still have a spot to tie the skirt material

I can cut all the way through them fairly easy when I’m just making them and not trying to work around a camera for a video lol

I’ve only used 1 box of them so far but all of the ones I had were great right out of the box

Go check out my Keitech football jig video. It’s probly the closest thing to that jig. You can make it with or without a weed guard

I have the blue fleck pigment from do-it and just use that. I don’t have a recipe for making it with standard colors. I have a color demo video about a year and a half ago that shows that blue fleck color
