We are the Ark, Acts of Restorative Kindness to the earth
If you want to save the planet, then start with your own patch of it. We have been colonisers long enough, pushing out the natives and inserting pretty plants dictated by fashions, sanctioned by the gardening industry, a behemoth that is destroying nature, patch by domestic patch under a huge blanket of greenwashing.
We are the Ark is a global movement that asks you to restore layers of native plant communities working with nature as a partner in the process. Native plants are the foundation stone of all life on the planet.
All we ask is that you give half of any land under your care, back to nature, so that she can take care of the 8.7 million other species that we are supposed to be sharing with. Upon whose health and abundance we are totally dependent, and yet we give them less and less sanctuary. In the other half, grow chemical free food if possible, share the space with friends and family who dont have land to grow and build communities around locally grown food.
