We are swapping a fd rx7 with a s15 sr20det this is the making of the coolant over flow tank for it
Steel and aluminum don't like each other, you need to passivate the aluminum.
What aluminum?
I like the 1st wheel choice. The 4-spoke American Racing looks new and classic at the same time.
Please don't chop the windshield too much but just enough for the proportions of the car. Keep the whole thing subtle and factory-looking. Subscribed.
I think it looks the best with the first set of wheels. The deep offset just looks better.
Very cool build and extremely well done fabrication. Any of those rims would be nice I think. My personal preference is number 2 but not my build. I am about start replumbing my TR6 rebuild so your brake line tips an tricks will come in very handy. Looking forward to more updates. Cheers
Great work! looks killer!
Any idea if the chassis is lighter than original?
I haven’t weighed the original, but this one is right at 250lbs bare chassis
Is the frame tube steel or plates cut and welded
Plates cut and welded
Looking forward to every video!
Dig the yacht rock, starts out like an 80's sitcom theme song. The fab work is outstanding!
Appreciate it!! Fun stuff!
Man! What a gem of a channel👍👍👍
Haha thank you! Going to really work on filming some more junk!
Great build! Looking forward to seeing more progress!
Thank for following along! I’m really excited to show it!
wow,, that's clean
Thank you! I love some nice lines!
nice work.. i like the depth of the 1st wheels, more sporty.. if youre doing a candy color the bbs looking wheels probably match better, big pimpin
The car will be a creamy white! I made a choice and ordered the wheels and tire! I’ll show em off in a video or two!
Fire
I like 3, the wire look. Number 1 is definitely BRE retro, and would be good too!
I think you’ll like what I ended up getting! Stay tuned!
Beautiful work! Real craftsmanship.
Wow, great fab skills! Can't wait to see more
Thank you!
Great work! Moving right along!
Only have till November!
Dope
Thank you!
"Crispy"
Awesome work! Frame looks killer, NA Sr20 was my plan on the Datsun Roadster project I had...I ended up moving and had to sell it before I got it finished. I subbed, cant wait to see progress!
WOW! You've got an AWESOME start on this. KEEP TRUSTING YOURSELF and let's see what happens. P.S. Get back to work! 😃
Always back to work!
Would love to see you buld a dry sump for the SR! Just cause, and it would allow it to sit a little lower. Can't wait for more updates!
No dry sump in this set up! I made room for the oil pan in my frame design. The tank and lines would take up too much room in this tiny car. Dry sumps are baller though!
@@ConnorButter Ah, fair points! I've been playing around with an integrated pump and dry sump pan for my L28.
This is going to be amazing! Can't wait to hear what it sounds like! Awesome work!
Super excited about this build! Thanks for sharing on UA-cam. Please please dont hold back on details and your thoughts and ideas behind what you are doing!
Of course you have another sub too! I already cat wait for the next video. Any extra videos on you design and CAD process would be awesome (Like when you are doing the valve cover)
Amazing! I can't wait to see more progress!
Thanks for following along!
Let’s go!!!
Very cool stuff 🎉
That looks Awesome! Subscribed!
Thank you sir!
I'm really excited about this build!!! I can't wait to follow your progress. I'm interested in seeing what you do with the rear fenders. I'm also building a 2000 on UA-cam. My build will be much more tame, but you've inspired me to think about the future. I'll be running a Honda K20 motor, going for lots of NA power.
Awesome! I’ll go in to some detail on making the fenders! That’s going to be one of the first things when the body gets back! K20 na will be awesome! Guys make crazy power with those!
@@ConnorButter it just occurred to me that I wasn't logged in with my UA-cam channel account, so you get TWO subs! Hahaha! Anyway, I'm stoked to see the fenders! I want to do something similar on mine... I think I'll need to fit as much rubber as I can in the back with the K20A2.
It was a pleasure watching your video . Your Mother and Sister should be very proud of You . Keep Up the good work and stay making jewelry
