    Thumbs Down for not mentioning Food Starches which are just long strings of sugar molecules. It is primarily the STARCH that makes white bread and white rice so bad for the body. Also, you stated that white bread is much worse than whole wheat; this is inaccurate. The difference on the body (glucose spike) between white- and whole wheat bread is about 1%. Whole wheat has few more trace nutrients, but not enough to justify the inherent sugar spike. Finally, how can any "bad foods list" not include Seed (aka veggie) OILS??? You also failed to mention the FRUCTOSE in sugar, opting instead to only focus on the glucose and glycemic index. This is borderline MISINFORMATION. Eliminating your selected 6 foods but not reducing overall carbs WILL NOT improve ones health.

    I gave you a "thumbs-up" because I didn't know about rice cakes being such a sneaky hidden healthy appearing food and thought of them as a good replacement for bread! I knew about instant oatmeal but would have liked if you said something about regular oatmeal, but I avoid that also. As far as maltodextrin goes, I certainly know to stay away from it but as the previous comment mentioned about it maybe having other hidden names....I don't think it does....maltodextrin is maltodextrin.     Not in any cases you should use castor oil before bed, for you have to count on a big mess in your bed when the castor oil will have done its work in your bowels and you are in a deep sleep. Naturally this one will be preferable when you won't not sleep due to a bloated belly with a lot of waste in your bowels. In normal cases it will be better to take early in the morning on an empty stomach 1 tablespoon (15 ml) castor oil. In this manner you will not only be able to cleanse your bowels from all the waste deposed there but further your body from all the toxins (especially methylmercury!) via the liver.
