POTHOLE SURFERS
United States
Приєднався 15 бер 2018
We are from Chicago, Born and raised, not the suburbs but Chicago. Being from Chicago you learn to deal with a lot of crap cold weather messed up politics and even worse roads. We drive old cars so the name pothole surfers seemed fitting in the way we surf around the potholes politics and weather. We hope to depict this lifestyle and all it entails. We're middle class so if we want to have things we make them or learn to fix them, as much as I can hate this lifestyle I wouldn't want to be any other way.

This is dexter I need somebody to know how to put a motor on a big bag and if you could receive by somebody if you can do my big bike
Nice Van
Corporations can afford to spare a few carts.❤
Thats so cool! !!! I have enjoyed your channel for a long time and missed the Early Econoline videos!
To everyone worrying about stealing it their laying all over the city and the stores dont want them so stop being drama queens and show appreciation for someone turning junk into something useful
nice man, Unfortunately, in the UK you can't even buy a broken Super73. the cheapest 73r is about 3k :C
That car has good gas mileage.
Very cool car man! Began watching this post to see if you'd put a V8 in it, lol! I have a 62' Econoline so... lol You did of course swap it to a 289 which is exactly what I'm going to do. (have a low-hours great motor from an old boat. 100 percent plan to slap a C6 in it too. I have the three on the tree column shifter that I'm going to make work. Really cool as hell was to see you had an Econoline or Falcon van tucked back there though buddy! Hah! Good luck with all your endeavors!
Can you tell me how to align the rear star please?
I used this to be able space it out some to avoid getting close to the tire but it should work otherwise too with the sprocket that comes with kit. amzn.to/4aIEEza
@POTHOLESURFERS I bought 2 of these and they wouldn't fit my fat tire rear hub? Wrong size maybe?
Its wild, the aftermarket demand for S73 parts. I built one with ALL aftermarket parts.. and sold the rest... The OEM S73 stuff sold RIGHT away. Full asking price.
Buy a real QS205 for 479... if you are spending 400$ on a junk no name 1500w motor.
Do you have a link?
you still selling the forks?, i really would like to buy a set or shock forks for my s1, just dont want to spend too much.. Nice vid BTW!
I’m not selling the fork sorry. Best of luck finding one. I would check on eBay or pickup a broken bike with one and part out the rest of the bike honestly it could be free after if you buy the bike right
@@POTHOLESURFERS yeah I’ve seen a few (the typical frame break) haven’t been able to snatch one up just yet, but fingers crossed!
Cool little project. I’m sure I’m not the only one who would like to see an update on the Falcon and the Econoline van.
Yeah I’m going to be making those soon the 65 van is gone picked up a 63 campervan
Around here if you sell a bike you should have full reflectors on it for liability. I let the buyer remove them if they want.
Where can I get the mount adapters you used on orange fat tire bike in video please send site
These are them amzn.to/4afJyn8
Nifty little ride 👍👍 job
Thanks
This was awesome - this is what older cars are all about - enjoy the ride!
Absolutely!
What kind of drone is that
A good one that didn’t get stuck in tree that day
The police report says. .. I seen him jump out grab. The cart threw it in his van. He had a neon sweater hoodie He is the shopping cart kidnapper lol.
Shopping cart bandit
Yes! How’s the Falcon doing as well?
It’s great was driving it this weekend I’ve been getting things together to do a t5 swap always wanted it to be stick maybe this summer I’ll take on that project
I've got a Zycle Fix Cobra Beach Cruiser with fat boy tires.tyank u so much.i had to put a 26 inch on the back
bro idea replace the cart frunt wheels or a cheap set from harbor F. the kind that swivel. then make trailer hitch a pin on type so it can be removed when not in use . You could ride to store get the groceries and ride home with out the whole load unload. My C cab has a similar feature , the outer body can be set off when I'm shopping so the store peeps don't think I stealing with whole closed top thing ( as the front cart of the 2 in back is open topped ) And by removing the front body panel that look like the truck hood it becomes another small shopping basket. It's going to be the bomb !
bro you can make a shop chair & tools dolly out of the bottom of the cart so easy.If you'd want I have a mobility scooter seat you can have for the cost of shipping it to you. then just put a small tray like an aluminum sheet cake pan from thrift store or whatever . nice build I'm doing one with 2 of those trailers end to end but I couldn't figure out how to safety remove the skins. I'm also building a custom body for my mobility scooter with 2 nesting rear baskets @ the back to form the bed of what I hope to make look like a 1900s C Cab delivery truck by adding a small basket to the front I will build the fakei engine area. as I was conceiving of this 1 it came to me to keep the bottom racks so that I can add several extra batteries to increase the range as well as with the 2 rear nesting carts by cutting & rearranging a few peaces I could make it so, when I pull almost apart I can get a camper like micro bed with space to carry sleeping bag below. I'm calling it Harry's Hobo RV. I hope it materializes as cool as my drawings & blue prints great build brother, new fan keep them coming !
yes shopping carts are very good for that purpose.....but i hate it when someboady ask, where did you steal that? LOL ....so i just use those big plastic bins instead
I have a few of those baskets too with some ideas for projects
That's not a cup holder 😂😂😂 it's for a cane.
Stickers...rock stickers...I digging the transformation...nerdy bikes...to hell yeah!!...let's cruuuz...
Did the C4 fit perfectly without any or much fabricating?
A little late but yes bolted right it modified rear crossmember mount just used a rubber puck with some holes
@@POTHOLESURFERS got a t5 but the knowledge is appreciated
@@moerizk3753 I have a t5 in my garage I’m wanting to put in mine I got a ford one and and an s10 one to swap the tail shaft on to the ford one, did you swap the tail shaft on yours? I’m wanting to keep the bench seat and heard that’s the only way to do it
@@POTHOLESURFERS I haven’t looked into tail shaft changes yet. My rear end is a rebuilt ford 8 and I’m halfway done rebuilding the t5 so I’ll have to see how I’m going to connect them. Maybe just get a custom driveshaft. Not quite sure yet
@@moerizk3753 I had to get a driveshaft for mine I got one from a crown Vic cut to fit and it worked out great
Instead of changing the front fork maybe you could use a 26 x 1.75 tire…
What’s the rise on those ape hangers?
I use plastic signs ("bandit signs" posted on street corners) in combination with my projects, you could line the bottom of the basket for a light weight water resistant bottom which helps keep water from splashing up . These signs are useful for a million things.
They were nice little econobox cars, the first unibody type. Nice example.
Mr Lozaaaa you should post more🥲
How you been man?
Take down the Video and Edit it!!!!!!!!
Sort of a Shady Shopping Buggy snatch. Then this guy shows his Tag Number at the end of the Video!!!!
I was there isn 23, still a few things left.
I came across a bike like that the frame is soni got and then I seen your video
it would be easier with a bike with a rear derailer
You can add extra chargeable bike lights to your super 73 And turn signal charging vest on Amazon I have a charging signal vest on my red rover, five vision, fat tire bike
You addlights to the bike trailer shopping cart to look cool at night
Hey nice build I'm building one of them to I cut the frame to make more room how did you get enough clearance so your chain doesn't slap the frame coming back to the motor... have you switch the rear hub to a Freewheel and another question does that Hub clamp slip that holds the sprocket I was going to weld a keyway on the Hub and then file the Hub bracket
hi, how did you mount the light to the fork?
Yes I did
Maybe think about making a pusher trailer for the bike. I have a fat tire bike, but as your's, my motor won't fit on it. So that's the reason for a pusher.
Hey .. what about that kool hub sprocket or how it mounts??
Very nice Falcon 👍
A plastic shopping cart may be lighter?
Soy mexicano 🇲🇽👍👍👍👍👌👌👌🤔😊🚲
how did you work with the chain clearance near the back of the bike? and what bike is that?
Momgoose dolomite
this is exactly what i'm looking for. i'd probably use a bigger cart, and somehow add front wheels that drop down while shopping, and have a foldable ebike in the cart. i will never let the bike out of my sight in New York City. these are stolen in like 2 minutes.
I think it would be considered “abandoned property” at that point and you are probably good.
There's another video on UA-cam about the legalities of finding a shopping cart. In short, it's not worth the time or effort of these retail chains to go after taken carts (plus, some chains faced public backlash after going after the homeless for taking their carts) and the local municipality could care less unless the store reports it as stolen.
