    Cambodian men never age. The father actually looks like he's 22 and he was in his 40s.

    In Florida, the Cambodian girls like punching guys in the shoulder for some reason. I worked with this one Cambodian chick and every time she was bored and had nothing to do, she'd come by my way and start punching my shoulder. I guess it's a thing for hood-rats. Some other Cambodian girls just worked normal. The Florida Cambodians breed dogs to fight and they tussle with Hispanics. Black and white people don't even mess with that, at least I don't think they do. Florida people are normally into sports and motorcycles. The gangs in Florida are elusive, they don't get out much; almost like they were in prison but really they just cater to their own community. No one really gets hits put on them. They mostly rumble or fight it out. Even their dogs are rough, they're home grown; not pitbulls. Some gangster-boos try to hit it off with white-guys because they got things twisted and didn't think a bunch of guys would jump on them. Cambodian girls that thug it out might end up getting tested on strange nights. The girl that takes matters in her own hands might really have to throw down. You can't just walk up to a guy and slug him in the face. Girl punches are hard, but they're limited. If the guy actually takes the hits, they normally don't want to be punched at all and they do punch back. It may seem wrong, but the weed they smoke might trigger a protect-yourself instinct. The way some of the girls look too isn't ugly, she shouldn't have got in to fighting. Maybe they would've talked if they weren't fighting. Rumbles aren't scary to the gangs in Florida, because they don't need guns. Sometimes, they even set up the days to fight as groups. Almost like Europe people and their soccer fights. I don't know about the police tho, if they saw the rumbles they might get hurt. A cop car or two might end up getting set on fire with the cops butt-nekid. All their gear and clothes, burnt in their cop cars. The gangs might just stop fighting just to joke on some naked folks. I never went around their hoods so I can't really say for sure how bad they had it. I lived in the suburbs. Their suburbs might look a little jungle for all I know. I don't have a problem with that, I just never wanted to bother anybody else's place. Trailer park white girls for some reason like hanging around Cambodian town. They do speak English still. Some of those white girls grew up worse than Eminem, hahaha. Out of the trailer park they might have a better chance of making something of themselves. Sports was fueling Florida, but for the Cambodians they had their own route. The dudes I saw at parties didn't look scared to fight their rivals. It wasn't strange to me. Oh! When the cops come, someone snitched! Someone's got to fess up or they got to go. No more Cambodia Town for a snitch, they get booted out. They'll disown a supposed to be family-friend. It's a disrespect snitching, they got to leave.

    Again, the gut dodged the question posed by the reporter: " How do the kids born here have the trauma that only is supposed to happen to their parents?" . They should have no trauma at all.

    • @mitchellkeo9587
      @mitchellkeo9587 9 місяців тому

      Trauma can be passed down through generations through behaviors. Just because the children never experienced the direct trauma itself, doesn’t mean the psychological effects of that trauma isn’t affecting the family life. Children of parents with trauma will likely have a strained household that affects how they live. Combine this with a low income environment and crime ridden area…it’s no surprise that it puts that demographic at a disadvantage.

    I am married to a wonderful Khmer woman. Like many other Khmer people, she was also a refugee. Hearing the stories from her parents, always broke my heart. But it also showed me how proud and strong the Khmer people were and are. I have great respect for these people. They welcomed me with open arms. Shared with me their culture. Especially their food, songs and dance. A wonderful culture. Proud to be married into this culture.

    It's crazy because I'm mixed. I'm part of Cambodian, Vietnamese and Chinese. Yeah i had a rough childhood but living in east side in my hometown. it was tough but both my stepmom and dad are Vietnamese taught me things i have to know. I can relate some of it because back in 2008 I reunited with my mom who is Cambodian but i felt like she was different, i tried to fix the problem as her only child, however... the way i see it, it seems like she doesn't want me and her family. I cant blame them because lack of communication. I'm so thankful because my stepmom who is my Vietnamese mom who always put me in my place to become a better man be a good person. Asian parents are old school but hey at least you would understand as you grow older and understand why did this or that. With my experience i do understand why they did and that. Thanks to my stepmom who i consider as my mom mostly and well a little bit of my dad since he always scares me well both of them even though we don't talk much... at least i forgive him and respect him. As a adult I understand because its adult life :D

    So you come to America as an immigrant and the country needs to conform to better understand your culture? The entitlement. I sure wouldn’t go to Mexico and expect them to learn English

      They came here as refugees bro. There's a difference. I agree though. They shouldn't expect America to conform to them. Empathy and understanding would be nice but from there on they gotta get it how they live just like anyone else here.

    I watched the Deportees of the Cambodians on a documentary. The OG’s That started the tiny rascal gang and the Asian boys. They said that both gangs need to come together , and start it off from a problem over a female that didn’t want a guy that was part of the gang. So he decided to click up and made his own gang ever since then TRG and the ABZ Been at war since the early 90s . The sad part about this is some of them are cousins. Some of the ABZ And the TRG gang members Are blood cousins!! Also some of the parents play card with each other every day!! It’s very sad. I know a lot of people died over this but you got a think back from a little Miss altercation or a female now it’s 30 years of blood shed smh
