So the most estetically basic Taylor doesn t look better, which is expected, but sounds way better. I see no point in buying the other one instead 🤔

The faith just sounds much much warmer for me the Taylor just too bright even thin sounding even though it is louder

Excellent comparison review but just one correction - Faith headstock logo is not mother of pearl inlay but a tasteful mother of Pearl inspired decal under lacquer. Same for the sound hole rosette. The neck 12th fret inlay is mother of pearl. This was confirmed to me recently by local luthier using extreme magnification to an correct an issue I had with my Faith headstock logo. Faiths are great guitars though - I am proud owner of 3!

Acoustic guitars that are louder/more dynamic acoustically usually do have more issues with not only feedback, but odd notes ending up louder as they respond to venue sound. This is why the top Takamine electro acoustics are not top acoustic guitars but behave incredibly when plugged in at high volume - the plugged in sound is primary to them. BTW I have a Faith Jupiter FJCEHG.

Hi - what make of strings did you put on?

Problem is I have small hands, really small hands. Was wondering if this is a guitar for a beginner with that problem, perhaps something else can be recommended?

I'd go with the Faith. I'd also go with the hard case. Might seem like overkill but when something falls off your closet shelf and lands on your guitar case (it happened to me) you'll be glad you have the case.

Talking about the color of ebony. the darker the color, the harder the woods. If you can get full solid black, it's mean that you've got the hardest and the most expensive part of the timber.

I own a Faith… I’ll never shop another brand again 😂

Having recently been in a pmt store for over 2 hours playing Taylor, Martin, Yamaha and Faith back and for eliminating, listening playing and getting the guys to play so I could listen and it ended up a toss up between a Taylor, Yamaha that had the reverb without need to connect to an amp and I walked out with Faith Neptune Natural Dark Gold. Not only did it smash the other 2 on looks and solid wood finishing, it also sounded better overall. Although the Taylor and Yamaha sounded at first brighter and that wad nice, none had the overall roundness of the Faith. After 2 hours in the shop the guys and customers agreed the Faith was not only better looking but better sounding. Fantastic Guitar

I got myself a Faith Venus on Thursday It was 75% sale which i didnt know until i went to checkout I was very lucky with this. It should easily be worth double what theu retail for (£1069 on Faith's website) But man is it a phenomenal guitar. Beautiful piece of craftsmanship Out of the box faith guitars performance incredibly well, the setup out of the box is excellent. I couldn't be happier. If i want to give it the love it deserves, in the new year I'll take to my local luthier for a proper fret setup to be sure its put in its proper place 👌 And not to mention to rock solid hard case. Beautiful green velvet, and the pre amp with the fishman pickup is incredible. Used conjunction with the Boss katana 50 mk2. It puts on a real show! *After watching the vid through, i do agree with the pre amp. Where you have to hold the guitar away to tune up is a little annoying. But that would be my only pit

Thanks, that's a very informative critique. Comparing two similar but different guitars is a great idea, and the unplugged tonal differences were noticeable. I'm interested in the Faith, because I don't have an all-mahogany (or trembesi) guitar, and it has great reviews. My usual guitars are Crafters (GAE-8, GAE-9, TCO-35 & DE-8 12 string). It would be interesting to see how the Faith compared to them. It was good that you commented on the lack of fingerboard dots, which I rely on. Things like that can be a deal-breaker.

Great video, I have the Bloodmoon. Love the mellow tone BUT sometimes I want a little more brightness. I change my pick. I find it quiet fingerprinting with flesh. I have a cheaper Sigma for that. Great stuff guys

Even the Faith hard case is built to perfection and my Venus doesn't have a chunky neck... I bought blindly and was amazed by the quality too! The body's comfortable for people with a bit of a belly !😁 Great video

J'ai acheté la même guitare électro acoustique Harley Benton type DC 120 CE BK LH j'ai déjà fait tout les choses qui était prévu comme réglé le truss rod changer les cordes dessus par des cordes piramyd ce sont des cordes fabriqué à la main en Allemagne elle ne sont pas très chère mais une très bonne qualité de fabrication phosphore bronze en 10-47 j'ai enlevé 2 mm d'épaisseur sur le chevalet de la guitare j'ai aussi repris les frettes dessus car elle sont assez coupantes maintenant c'est fait elle ne coupe plus du tout ma guitare et maintenant très bien niveau qualité sonore j'ai reçu un mail de thomann.de qui m'a conseillé de faire des petits travaux dessus je ne m'attendais pas du tout a ça Thomann guitare qui m'a donné un conseil pour ma guitare je leur ai demandé si la garantie sera encore valable ils m'ont dit que oui aucun souci avec ça voilà mon expérience avec les guitares Harley Benton électro acoustique
