What's up everyone? I'm Legally Blind Gamer Reviews, but you can call me LBG Reviews.
I have loved video games since I was really young, but due to eyesight problems, I struggle to play some games whether it is due to cluttered User Interfaces, small text, or even an art style that may be hard on my eyes.
That's why I want to review games based on how easy they are for me, and maybe others with visual impairments to play.
I hope you enjoy!

Welcome back to LBG Reviews! Please be sure to Like and Subscribe! Today we are talking about Little Known Galaxy! Grab some seeds, a watering pack, and a few friends and hop aboard your ship, Captain! As a Stardew clone I have seen arguments for and against why this game is a good Stardew clone, some say it is too tedious, others have other gripes, but it definitely provides a fresh twist to t...

Welcome back to LBG Reviews! Please be sure to Like and Subscribe! Pine Hearts is a touching and cute mix of a metroidvania and a cozy healing game. It is the kind of game where you play it, and immediately think "I should spend more time with loved ones" afterwards. The game's accessibility features are simple, but effective in my experience.

Welcome back to LBG Reviews! Please be sure to Like and Subscribe! My thoughts on Starfield are swayed by the fact that I have always been fascinated by space, and so, many games that are even tangentially related to space usually get some praise from me.

Welcome back to LBG Reviews! Please be sure to Like and Subscribe! Another Crab's Treasure is a goofy, but challenging soulslike where you play as a hermit crab who gets their shell stolen as collateral to ensure they pay their taxes. One of my favorite accessibility features in a game was introduced with this game... they gave the crab a gun that kills all enemies and bosses in one hit!

Sorry for the shorter video guys! technical difficulties while trying to get this video out on time stressed me out, so when I re-recorded the voiceover, I wasn't in the right headspace to go in as much detail as I had the first time!

Hi
That game is trash
One man's trash is another man's treasure. I will agree that the game is very buggy and that the characters look kinda funky, but I still find the gameplay, and the story presented as interesting.
200hrs in Starfield (had already beaten BG3). The game’s a fever dream with the story telling of Fallout 76. Bethesda deserved the hate it got. If you have the specs, play Nolvus, Ultima, or any modern modpack for Skyrim. It’s an amazing experience.
This game single-handedly gave me thalassephobia.
10/10 would happily acquire a new crippling phobia again if it is even half as fun as it was with Subnautica. In all seriousness, the sound of reapers still haunt my dreams
Just pathetic, especially considering why Sonic Superstars turned out the way it did.
@AustinMSmall I can understand where you are coming from because Sonic Superstars did turn out pretty poor, but in my own experience, Penny's Big Breakaway, although not perfect, is a relatively well polished game that is still extremely fun. I dislike it when people use past blunders to make something else related to that blunder look worse. Holding creators of any kind to such high a standard will always lead to disappointment. As an example, there are cideos you can find on my channel that even I will admit are pretty subpar in quality. However comparison comments like yours are like saying "LBG Reviews' Mario Wonder Video is soo bad that even his upcoming video about Spiritfall is going to suck." Even when work on another project impedes the development of another project, it isn't necessarily fair to drag one down due to the failure of the other, evsn when the former may have caused the failure of the other. If you've watched any of my other videos, you'll find that I rarely bring up other games when discussing individual games, and that when I do, it's mainly for better understanding for those who may have only seen an idea done in one specific game, so if I were to apply it here, "swinging on Penny's yoyo reminds me of swinging on vines from a game like Donkey Kong Country." Followed by me showcasing why Penny's yoyo is different from games with similar mechanics.
Compression was not kind to this one! I plan to try uploading shorts every other week.
Oh this isn’t about lesbians and gays and bisexuals
My gripe with FaeFarm is the crops you farm and the fish(and some of the critters)you catch. They all end up being...interchangeable. Like, new season rolls over, so new crops to get, but they don't do anything new. The seasonal variants of crops sell for the same price as other seasonal variants, and they don't end up being used for unique food recipes either. Every root veggie gets processed into the same ingredients, to be used for the same recipe. "I can't get peaches anymore, so what do apples do for me?" Answer: the same dang things. Either campfire cooked into a generic "roasted fruit", or turned into chopped fruit, which is used for any recipe needing chopped fruit. That fish that one might have trouble reeling in? Same sale price and uses as its counterparts in other seasons. Like...unless it asks for something SPECIFIC(this recipe needs a yellow rose, yadda yadda), the crops and fish end up unfulfilling to get. Variety for the sake of variety, no nuance whatsoever to make a crop meaningfully different.
And to add more fuel to that fire, when I recorded this video, the only thing the potion ingredients station only had one use, Steel Cut Clover! I went through all this effort to craft the Crafting station, and I was so disappointed to see it only crafted one thing.
Hey everyone! If you were of the lucky few who clicked on this video a short time after its uploading, my apologies for the black screen for the first 15 minutes! Big editing mistake there, whoops! Go to 15:28 to see the video's actual start. Anyone else who sees this, if the video length says ~30 mins, that is the correct version of the vid, justvenjoy atvyour own pleasure. If it says ~50 mins, the above message is to you.
Is this by the forager devs? Forager is great.
Looking it up, the developer of Forager did publish this game, but the developer is not specificallythe same person as the guy who made forager. Forager is a really fun game that, honestly I should talk about some time soon! This game is definitely different than forager but it still oozes a similar charm.
But im not lost...
I really enjoyed this game! It's funny and has a cute art style. I'm not going to give spoilers, but I also love how dark the story actually is. I love it when games have a god mode or any kind of feature to make the game easier like that. Not everything has to be a challenge, specially when it causes you physical pain.
I beat the game around a year ago, and yeah, with my own vision problems I found the final stages of the game to be neigh impossible. It's games like Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion that actually prompted the creation of my channel! I felt that not enough appreciation is given to games with Accessibility features.
@@lbgreviews I think a lot of people don't understand that some need these features to even finish the game. They see it as an "easy mode". I hope more people understand that all game experiences are valid and that features like these are necessary.
@pialfa801 i agree while heartedly, another thing people don't consider is that even people without disabilities need these features, as I showed off in my video about It Takes Two, my mother is otherwise fully sighted but is admittedly less versed in games than I am and she really benefited from ITT's simplified button mashing. Age is also an important factor for Accessibility that most people don't think of until they see an elderly person trying to cross the street. It's hard to get people to understand things they have never experienced. My mother is another prime example. Before making my channel into what it is now, my grandfather had stomach and throat cancer, but after treatment he was initially cleared to start eat8ng soft food again but was scared to do so. My mom couldn't fully understand that until H. Pylori caused extreme stomach issies, when she was cleared to eat again she didn't start because of fear. Thankfully but also sadly it isn't easy to effectively show people what disabilities are like without permanent injury. So, that's why I always go out of my way to show my own gameplay, while the viewer cannot fully experience my own experiences, it does a better job at demonstrating why I may struggle compared to others rather than getting footage from others who are either better at the game or can see better than I can.
This was the final video prerecorded for my trip! Next week we will do a video on Dreamlight Valley! If you have suggestions, please leave them in the comments.
The day this video came out.... I was a pallbearer for my grandmother's funeral.... Me and my family discussed how poetic it was that this video came out when it did. We knew it was coming, but you never expect it will come as soon as it does. Miss you Grandma!
Figured I would try something a little different with the background audio for today's video. Instead of background music I decided to do the audio from the gameplay. Let me know what you think in the comments!
It felt good talking about this game! If you have any suggestions, leave them in a comment! I am currently gearing up for another trip, but I will get to any suggestions I get! Please be sure to Like, Subscribe and ring the bell, because the LBG train isn't stopping any time soon!
Something that helps with pronunciation is look up phonetic spellings. Google usually has short audio clips that go with it. For example, usually when you ask for a pronunciation of a word, you can get the same word but with letters we don’t usually have and oddly placed accent marks and capitalized letters to mark stressed syllabus. However, with phonetic pronunciation, it’s usually more like “Shay-men”. It shows you more directly how to pronounce the word by breaking it up into smaller segments and pronouncing each small segment in order. These are usually broken up in a way that make it hard to mispronounce :)
Hi Sarah, I don't know where you are from, but at least in the US where I am, Shaman is commonly pronounced shah-men. I recognize that other cultures have different pronunciations for various words depending on how their native tounge influences their speech. This is also part of why I avoid pronouncing names I am unsure of, words like shaman may be easy to look up on Google, however, especially in a video game where the character's name is not specifically spoken, the most common pronunciations cannot technically be proven to be how that character's name would be said, as a result I lean more on the cautious, albeit potentially xenophobic outlook of "I'm not sure how to pronounce it, so I won't try unless I've heard THEM say it." This is largely because I don't want to step on anyone's toes when talking about a game. As an example, let's take one character from the Yakuan clan from the game, the character Krak. I can see 2 potential pronunciations: like "crack" or like "croc" while talking to myself I may call him by the former pronunciation, personally I would not want toforce my pronunciations onto others while discussing characters, fortunately in Roots of Pacha, each role and tribe is distinct enough to use other words to discuss the exact character. Granted I recognize that I didn't apply that same logic to pronoucing Pacha, however I tried my best with my understanding of phonetics after speaking English for all my life, and it would be hard to do a video on it without using the name. I genuinely do appreciate your feedback, I apologize if my novel of a response came off as deflective, I just wished to share my side of the situation as well.
I hope you all enjoy! Subnautica is a personal favorite!
Hey I wanted to say I really like your content
And it’s also my favourite
@AxolotlPlayz_GD much appreciated!
My apologies to anyone who got surprised by the burp at 04:45. Thought i had edited it out, but apparently i hadn't! I went into UA-cam studio and edited it out, if you watch it again later it shouldn't be there any more. Besides, more views is always good
Can you do Subnautica I love that game
I'd be happy to! Subnautica is also a personal favorite! Once I get the Potion Permit video out on Friday, I will get working on that video next!

Awesome
Another step towards a higher quality standard of my content! I'm still working out the best sound mixture for my editing.
my guy, don't be shy to your own voice. Make it louder!
Amazing
Always trying to push it further!
My next video will be Stardew Valley, as I mentioned at the end of the video, but if you have suggestions for future videos, let me know!
