Circumcision of the heart occurs as the result of remission of sins. The original Greek word for "forgiveness" is the same word ,but the word " remission"is specifically a cleansing of our heart from the guilt from past committed sin. As the result of our repentance being demonstrated through water baptism ,and because of thd shed blood of Christ, the Holy Spirit circumcises our conscience, removing the guilt from past sins, and restoring it to its' original childlike innocence from wilfull sin. This is why Jesus told the crowd that unless they became as little children they couldn't not enter thr kingdom of heaven( Matt.28:2-4). This is the " washing of regeneration" spoken of in Titus 3:5. The word " regeneration" defined means to return something to its' original state. The original state of our conscience is innocence from wilful sin, like a childs. The remission of sins under the new covenant is the antitype of the old covenants' type of cleansing of the temple with water and blood in preparation for it to.be occupied by the Holy Spirit.

I was a drunkard and a walking lustful porn addict for around 20yrs and moved around from one place to the next. I always believed in God and i would go to church and then to the bar. I constantly seeked God in the middle of the addicted life that I hated. I know what was in my heart before and what I needed daily. It's not in my heart anymore. Two years ago I got married, basically repented from fornication and married then right after our marriage we were baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Obeying Acts 2:38-Peter Said Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.. So a few days later I got down on my knees and I prayed fervently and the tears began to flow and I was seeing flames with my eyes shut. I knew God was filling me with His Spirit. (Baptism of Holy Spirit and Fire) that was few days after Valentine's day 2015. God gave me a spiritual circumcision .. took out the Stony heart and gave me a heart of flesh. Greater is He that is in me than he who is in the world. I believe the miracle is in Jesus name baptism. Applied the blood of Jesus and now I am buried with Christ daily according to Romans 6 .. they all were baptized in Jesus name in the book of Acts. Acts 19 says they were rebaptized in the name of Jesus cus they were baptized unto John's repentance. Then they layed their hands on them and they received the Holy Spirit. Praise God! We all must take on the name of Jesus in the water and He will bless us with His Spirit. God is a Spirit. He is ONE and His name is Jesus. Jesus is the Living Word. The Word became Flesh. We must obey all the Word of Jesus. Jesus is the beginning and the end, Alpha and Omega, 1st and the Last. He is the 'I AM' Emanuel means God with us. He is the Prince of Peace... Isaiah 9:6 - unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given and the government shall be upon His shoulder and His name shall be called Wonderful, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Councellor, Prince of Peace... Prince of Peace is in this same scripture so the Word cannot lie. Jesus is our Everlasting Father. Greatest commandment is the Shema Deuteronomy 6:4
