Whenever you revisit this song it gets a little more rich (no pun intended) looking forward to more plugged in acoustic stuff!
I’m really enjoying the sound that the plugged in acoustic brings to this song. Another layer of depth to an already deep piece!
without a doubt this is your best song i need a full version ASAP 💕
Wow! Really powerful emotion in the music and lyrics, love the new set up too!
go rich😎😎
❤powerful … the lyrics 🔥
Love the lyric “Mood changes like ocean weather.” I like that there is something uplifting in the rhythm and chords which lends a hopeful feel to complex & deep circumstances.
Nice lyrics and rhythm. It's an easy listen.
love how youre sitting back on the tempo on this take! lotta swagger there! i really can resonate lyrically and spiritually, badass, rich
Thanks for your encouragement, Stevie!👊
Raw and authentic, really enjoy you revisiting this song! Maybe you’ll revisit some others 👀
This rhythm would be so difficult for me to play! Haha you’re very talented. I enjoyed this, thanks for sharing
Thanks for your musical validation, Lisa!👊 Did YOU taking singing lessons? Your voice is amazing and soulful.👍
The music and your playing on this one is probably my favorite, it flows confidently~ the progression of the cords and the progression of your souls search for love work hand in hand. Hope to see more!
That line about the moon and sea will be gnawing at my mind, keep writing and playing!
Love this song, lyrics, melody and groove. I especially like the line, "I keep finding so many signs that keep guiding me to the finish line." It reminds me a bit of the Rumi poem, "The Guest House, " when he is talks about emotions and says, “The dark thought, the shame, the malice, meet them at the door laughing, and invite them in. Be grateful for whoever comes, because each has been sent as a guide from beyond.”
love the stuff you're putting out and looking forward to what you have cooking~
super catchy riff to this one, definitely going to be stuck in my head for a few days
The acapella is a nice addition to the powerful lyrics of this song
great song! love that you're posting music again, hope to see more stuff soon!
Also, diggin the shades as mentioned by Steve!
Enjoying the groove! The yearning in the song is palpable. I relate a lot to the lyric “I need help from above”! I feel this often:)
Love it, Rich! Love the message and the journey of the lyrics.
the bassy tones in your voice really bring out that riff underneath!! chord progression is somehow even cooler than those shades you got on! -Steve Scholey, vocalist/bassist for hopper pond
I better see this on Spotify soon man, what an earworm chorus. Love it!!! -Steve Scholey, bassist and vocalist of hopper pond
