1955 Belair Convertible 265 V8 with power steering and power brakes. #114 of 870 built in Canada with a total of 42,000 convertibles made world wide. Built in Dec of 1954 and shipped to Port Arthur Motors in Port Arthur Ont (now called Thunder Bay) to the new owner just in time for Christmas . So it spent it's whole life here lm the 3rd owner. The original owner had it for 21 years , Joe Percy owned it for 43 years and l had it for 5 years. it underwent a nut and bolt restoration from 1996 to Dec 1999. The paint on it is 28 years old and shows like new. It's never seen rain or a wash bucket and was kept in a climate controlled garage. since l owned it the car has seen 2 rain drizzles but in both occasions l left the car show brought it home and shammied it dry. The udrneath is a nice as the top and painted correctly like it ame from the factory. A true gold seal car :)
