I have a 2009 touring with an overheating issue that I find kind of odd. It will be at normal operating temp while driving, and after 25-45 minutes, it will all of a sudden spike temp. No coolant on the ground, no coolant in the oil, no sludge. Changed the stat awhile ago, still does it. I do stress the stock alternator with a stereo system if that has anything to do with it as I still need to upgrade to a high output. I don’t see how that could have any effect if any. I do have a temp sensor I bought but haven’t installed. The overflow tank does bubble and steam sometimes. ideas?
