aphex twin - windowlicker 33 rpm
Переглядів 51 тис.12 років тому
aphex twin's windowlicker at 33rpm (12" maxi single, 45rpm) Years ago I discovered that this classic gets even better when you slow it down. To share this knowledge with you I cut a video of macro shots of my TV and my turntable. Hope you like it.

hi
i always switch to 33rpm on my 1210 when i play this record :)
Literally Hotline Miami 3
It’s a nice sound to listen to 6:20 in the morning, getting a cold shower and doin my 20 pushups.
Sounds like an extraterritorial, or higher life form, probing, analyzing, dissecting a human brain, it can only hear human thoughts as unintelligible gibberish. Then finally, at 6:48, it’s physically manifesting itself into our world from the twisted remnants of humanity it found inside the mind.
this is 100% my favorite version of this song. underrated 100/100
feels like im listening to it for the first time <3
I thougt I was the only child❤
Thank you
I reversed the whole song and it sounds awesome like that too

J'aime ça les croquette au chieeeuu
Did you see the pink kitten?
33 rpm is the best way to play this record 👍
I always slow my music down and add a bit more bass. I think it sounds better personally
You can recreate this effect digitally in Audacity. I usually do this with track I make just see what they sound like. I know something is really good if it works at any speed.
SOunds like buggs bunny
Can we just appreciate the video. It's so well arranged

Sounds amazing, and very nice video too!
7:53 Love this little silence
+nico9volt well timed break in the action does wonders to simultaneously cut and build the tension. it's amazing what "nothing" can do.
Shocked by how low the views are on this even now.... Can't count the amount of times I've come back.
Ammm ... nice but i love the original version ;)
6:48 this is too good
Thank you for this time stamp, it indeed sounds really awesome there.
Yes
Too raw. I gotta do a drum cover.👌✌️
The first song is called "Blue Arrangements" --- co-written with David Berman. Available on the Silver Jews album, "American Water." Second song is "Fin" by Pavement. Thanks for breaking out the old super 8 camera for this.

More people need to see this. Both the audio and the visuals are completely stunning.
