    I have several of those, then a friend cut/slice one, and lo and behold, it's dyed. The inside is white!

      @@joslifejourney7599 yeah, I know, I cut several open as well. Although they are in some way heat treated or died or some combination of both, the patterns you see in these rocks are really in there. It's actually kind of interesting because what that does is bring out more definition to let you see what's really going on in the patterns that are naturally in the rock. I still find them extremely enjoyable to look at.

    These are FAKE. They are sardonox that are heat treated and then died. When they are cut, you can see the color is just at the surface. But they are pretty, and I have some too.

    • @agatemaster4243
      @agatemaster4243 3 місяці тому

      I know the color is enhanced, however, each stone is a real stone, and the patterns in the stones are authentically in there. I kind of like that they've been colorized because you can really see the detail in the patterns. As you saw, some of these stones have really crazy animal like features and those aren't painted in there, they are really patterns naturally formed in the rock. Super enjoyable to look at, but, the color is not natural, yes.

    Aka silk agate. These are so awesome! I do believe that they heat treat them to make the colors. Was shown an agate before heat treating and one after heat treating and they are so much different. A definite top 10 agate to collect!

      Thank you yes, while these agates may have some "assistance" in getting their awesome colors, I'm still impressed with them and I'm amazed at some of the patterns that are really in the rocks.

      Yeah I know there's some type of a treatment that they must do. I don't know how they could dye them so intricately though. Normally when agate is dyed its 1 or 2 colors.

    Absolutely love your collection. The "dove" flying with the mouth open, looks actually like a seagull following a fishing boat, screaming. In the first face of your stone of religious significance, I see Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus. The Moray Eel rock looks like it has a vulture on it, to me. I also have to commend you on self control in the comments. Some of the comments are real eye rollers. I guess people do not listen, watch or know their geography?!

      Thank you for your comments! You know, you're exactly right about the seagull. I always knew Dove didn't really fit but it definitely looks a lot more like a seagull. Also, on my hearthstone, did you come up with understanding mary, joseph, and the baby all by yourself or did you look at other comments and see someone else say it? Also, I definitely see Mary and baby Jesus now, but I'm not so sure about where Joseph is. Can you sort of describe that to me? Yeah, there are apparently always some rude people and troll types whenever you make a video that gets a decent number of views. Oh well, for the most part it seems like people are enjoying it. Thank you and look forward to hearing back from you.

Since this video, I've come to believe that the stones are real agates from madagascar, however, they do some sort of a treatment to enhance the color. While I'm not too excited about that, the shapes and designs in the Rock are real so all the birds and frogs and such are really in the Rock they've just been enhanced in color.
