It wouldn’t be the Mets, it would be the Pittsburgh Pirates in baseball. I could see Jason in a pirate outfit with a patch over one eye and a parrot 🦜 on his shoulder although Jason seems like he might be afraid of birds. 😂

U need a terrible towel in the background if ur a Steelers fan. As a Seahawks fan I hate the ‘Stealers’ because the refs gave them the Super Bowl against us. The fans travel well so it’s a good team to rep.

I’m from Pittsburgh, so I know a lot about the Steelers. They are tied with the Patriots for the most super bowls in NFL history at 6. There definitely in the conversation for being one of the greatest NFL franchises. Some of their big rivalries would be with the Baltimore Ravens and the Cleveland Browns. The Pittsburgh Steelers rivalry with the Baltimore Ravens is probably the most competitive and dirty rivalry in the NFL. Some notable all-time players would be Mean Joe Greene, Terry Bradshaw, Mel Blount, Rod Woodson, Ben Roethlisberger, and Troy Polomalu. Some good current Steelers players would be TJ Watt, Cam Heyward, and George Pickens. The Steelers are known to be very consistent and are always somehow in the playoff conversation no matter the season. You guys should become Pittsburgh Pirates and Penguins fans as well.

Loving the podcast. Can you offer me some advice? I received a Topps Now Freddie Freeman (card 880) numbered to 10. It looks in perfect condition so do you think that is a card worth grading? I've never graded a card before as I'm relatively new to the hobby (a couple of years) and being based in the UK, the market for resale of MLB isn't quite as strong or convenient.

Fellas, the Steelers have won 6 super bowls tied for most all time with the Patriots. Their fan base size is top 3 of all NFL teams. I hope this is educational.

Can you guys provide any insight into decisions to include/exclude certain players in collections? I am asking because Topps chose to exclude some key players from 2024 MLS Chrome, but to include them in its MLS Superstars. For example, two well known starting goalkeepers Drake Callender (Inter Miami) and Carlos Coronel (NY Red Bulls) were included in Superstars, but not Chrome. I would have expected a better selection of players in the higher-priced set. Love your show!

They did the same thing with the first card on print (base) being a One of One in Baseball. It was quite tough to see and find and I would bet a lot of 1/1 were discarded since people thought it was a normal base card. Cool to see that they include it though

Ive stopped ripping Donruss - The cards and hits are nice but the excess amount of base cards just gets overwhelming and feels wasteful.
