Hi, I'm Nathan Panke. Modern Psalmist provides training and resources to help equip and empower worship leaders, musicians, and singers in prophetic/spontaneous worship by demystifying it through the explanation and demonstration of basic techniques and concepts.
10 years ago I started the journey with “Modern Psalmist”. In 2008, after having led and played literally thousands of hours of spontaneous worship, I remember sitting and thinking that there must be a better way to learn spontaneous worship other than just learning through years of trial and error or a long internship. This is a beautiful track, for anything...ie: yoga, spoken word, creative workflow, etc.
If the Impression is impressed by a contrary spirit and speaking falsehoods then people are just being deceived.
What's the difference between apostolic & prophetic worship? Intercession ?

I love this. Nathan has tremendous insight derived from personal encounter and revelation. The one thing that moves me most is that in all of Nathan's podcasts or videos or articles, he is consistent in his passionate pursuit and his desire that the body of Christ would one day be able to grasp the simplicity of worship and how that our hunger so deeply moves the heart of God.

@@modernpsalmist8968 I'm a electric guitarist and have been playing in that capacity on worship teams for 20 plus years in addition to playing side gigs with modern jazz bands, rock, classic rock etc.as the Lord permitted up until three years ago, when I made the choice to just do worship adding the element of spontaneity and emphasizing the necessity of it in worship. Wasn't saying that as a boast but just to emphasize that if there had been a shortcut, believe me, I would have found it. I 've logged hundreds of hours searching blogs vblogs, podcasts etc not because I don't understand it, because I do and go spontaneus/ prophetic every time I worship with "Zamar" Your revelation has given me some profound understanding and now I'm more able to articulate the "why" as well as the "what" to "what" to worship leaders and musicians who totally respect my playing but they had lots of questions as what it is and how to identify the portal and when to jump in. Thank you Nathan so much for you doing what no one else really is and fulfilling the call on your life by helping us fulfill ours too!

Love this! Definitely a "now" word and helps me now realize that revelation has now come, and will reveal a new platform, or "center" to our sonic paradigm. We "see" God with our "ears" so the new song will spontaneously flow because of new understanding and expression by psalmists and musicians.

Our team loves to emphasize singing TO, not ABOUT. Example we give: Your best friend is in the room with you and you say.."how is him doing?" "I read about him" "him is great!" " I love him!" most songs are about Him, not to Him . Subtle but puts us in the spectator seat like a gifted newspaper reporter singing the latest news. Wellspring.
