It sounds like someone needs to hit the gym! 😀
Yeah, I do. It certainly doesn't help that I spent most of every day in the office sitting down at a computer. However, I like my job as an SMO because it's easy
Great video! 8:45 United have their own hangar at Heathrow
That would kind of make sense given the number of flights that United has between Heathrow and the US
Loganair is a crap airline with ridiculous overpricing for a crap service. Awful crew and I mean awful.
Well, they do fly regional routes around the UK so the service doesn't have to be top notch because they are the only option. For instance, for Derry to London you can either fly Loganair or go via Belfast
@@JackJackProductionsFlights As I said they're crap. I go via Belfast.
On what economy flight between London and Belfast do you get two complimentary snacks and a choice of either tea, coffee, or water again for free. And on the cheapest BA and easyJet flights between London and Belfast, you need to pay for a checked bag. But with the cheapest ticket on Loganair, you get 15kg of checked luggage for free
@@JackJackProductionsFlights Well if you're okay to pay upwards of £100 and more for a caramel wafer or a piece of shortbread, then that's your affair or are you just trying to show off how wealthy you are?
I only paid cash for the taxes and fees. For the rest I used BA avios airmiles. That I gained with everyday spending on a BA American Express

Have done this flight ✈️ on Alitalia back in 2015. Still haven't flown ITA 🇮🇹 yet.
Well aside from the name on the side of the plane, there is no noticeable difference between ITA Airways and Alitalia on the older A320 family aircraft
@@JackJackProductionsFlights Just making a point that I haven't flown ITA YET AT ALL! 👍👌 However, yes, I didn't notice any significant difference between Alitalia and ITA's A320 service from your video. Looked about the same.
Hi, when was this recorded? Because I think I was on that flight 😁

Do you have to go through passport control if you are an eu resident (im flying this route soon)
Yes. Everyone does as the flight is technically a non-schengen one as it continues to Singapore

Okay
I'm flying with ITA same route Rome to Catania in September I have flown with Alitalia many times what is the difference?
On a short 50(ish) minute between Rome and Catania, none. You still get a drink and that's about it. Yes, the name on the side of the plane is different and the crew wear different uniforms but that's about it. Were ITA really shines against Alitalia is its medium and long haul product. Brand new planes, brand new cabins, and very Italian food. The flagship ITA Airways lounge in Rome's non-schengen gates has a pizza station. However, you are only able to access that if you go through passport control. And flying business class or in possession of airline status with a Skyteam airline such as AirFrance KLM, Delta, or Virgin Atlantic
@@JackJackProductionsFlights Thankyou flew international with the old Alitalia and loved it. I hope I have the same experience.

Okay
Great video! On this route, is Aer Lingus or British Airways the better airline? How often do you visit Dublin?
最明與顯奧運期間英國市民改到都柏林!
If you like travelling light the go for Aer Lingus as with an Economy Saver ticket you can check in your large carry on. If you want some free water and a small snack on the plane, go for British Airways. If you want a more modern cabin, go for Aer Lingus as their new cabins have USB charging ports. USB ports on BA short haul planes are a bit hit and miss.
For me, it's worth it, as economy class is more crowded and passengers have much less space.
But would you pay up to 2 or 3 times the price of an economy ticket for an economy seat and a forgettable meal on the plane
Unfortunately, I have to agree. I work for the airline and am also quite disappointed with the service that is being offered to our customers. There's an initiative inside the company to better our service offerings again but I personally feel like it lacks vision which is something that can be felt across the Lufthansa Group sadly... The new Allegris interior on long-haul flights should help justify the steep price somewhat but yeah; business class on short-haul flights is not worth the hundreds of Euros unless you're truly well-off. At least my colleagues on board are very nice. I fly about once or twice a month using my company discount and the flight attendants are extremely kind and helpful.
I was glad I didn't pay the full cash price. I think it was about 4 hundred euros. I paid, I think, 180 euros for Vienna to Heathrow via Frankfurt, then another 75 euros for an upgrade on the flight to Heathrow through bid for an upgraded. And until the 787s arrived, Lufthansa had an uncompetitive long-haul business. It is saying something when Condor, a German holiday airline, has a better business class product than the German national airline
Nah this is a joke. The complimentary service of Lufthansa on short haul flights/domestic flights used to be sandwiches with drinks such as juice, coffee and tea in economy class. At this point, what is difference between the flag carrier of Germany which you pay $100+ and those low cost airlines for a much cheaper price ? Only Air France I guess is still maintaining their usual complimentary service in Europe
It is only AirFrance and KLM which still maintain their complimentary service, and even still KLM have reduced their service a little bit. I was on a KLM flight from Turin to Amsterdam, flight was about 1 hour and 20 minutes, and all we got was a cheese sandwich and a drink. I remember doing the 45 minute flight from Hamburg to Amsterdam in 2019 and getting a snack box. However on a 45 minute flight, a small water and a piece of chocolate is fine. I guess it is just a way of airlines to cut costs
Only to mention it. Condor gives out a little box of 2 very fine pralines.
Thanks for the information. I now know what to expect when I fly Condor between Frankfurt and the Canaries in December
Great videos! Love them. Were there self check in kiosks in LHR? Thanks
There are self bag drop machines at Heathrow for Aer Lingus. But if travelling on an Economy Saver and checking your large carry on in, then you will need to head to a staffed check in/ bag drop desk
Better than the LHR/LGW flights, where there's no free catering. 2x2 seating on the E190 is another bonus. I would consider pixellating the QR code and FF number on your BP.
Cityflyer is the better version of BA, although, I am yet to try Euroflyer. I agree that the 2 + 2 seating on the E190 is a bonus compared to the A320 family. I will consider either blurring the barcode and frequent flyer number on my boarding passes, or not including them in the video at all. Well, not the side with the information
Cool!
Thanks

What?
Nice trip report! Incredible that TAP sent an A321LR on the 25 minutes hop to Faro, while they gave me an old A321 with really uncomfortable seats on a 4 hour flight to Cape Verde. Shameful!
Well it's probably down to aircraft availability. I used Google Flights to see it is was the LR or not. For flights showing as operated by the A321, look is it also says "on demand video". If it says that, it's the LR. If it doesn't say that is a normal A321 or A321neo
@@JackJackProductionsFlights Oh alright. Thanks for the information!
What do you dislike about newcastle?
The entire city, especially St James' Park home of Newcastle United. However, I do love Greggs. Because with a Greggs breakfast, breakfast has never tasted better. And no sausage roll can beat a Greggs Sausage Roll
Cool video, I flew on the same route but the other way
Cool!
Amazing flight report ❤
Thanks a lot!
