Is there a community for us UA-cam Mommies? I’m new but looking for an uplifting crew!
I'd bet there is a community for UA-cam mommies. And if not, maybe you can start it!?
What makes me sad is once I proved the nay-sayers wrong and they congratulated me, I no longer valued their opinion. sometimes I could tell they were genuinely happy for me- but their inability to think big like me lacked vision and belief
I think through your hard work and accomplishments you can also help the naysayers to see the possibilities if they too, pursued their dreams.
Same problem. Had to raise 500K for a truly great service that tackles most important problems for the consumer. Had to basically halve my evaluation and then bring it down even further to raise at least something. Even though the projected revenue during the first year is around 5 6 mil. Still working on it. If I was in the USA - I would already be raking in profits. Not all the economies are created equal.
@donfanto1 that's a challenge. Did you manage to raise external funding? I think, if you can, the best way is to focus on building a product that customers need/love so it can sell itself and you can bootstrap your company to gain some traction and show the investors of the potential of the company. From there, it will be easier to raise. I think sometimes we rush to raise money, because it can allow us to do much more, e.g. hire more developers, but maybe the best option for the early stages is to focus on acquiring customers and gain traction, and prove the product-market fit.
@@dursunhalimova I did all that. And was still barely able to get the per need basis funding. You can Kickstart some ideas in your garage, but some things require cold hard cash for things such as development, legal councelling, licensing etc. This 250k was pretty much the minimum entry point for the business I was getting into. For the product that I'm developing. So yeah. Getting cash for funding outside of US can be quite a challenge.
Great conversation. I hope Europe does change policies soon, and stop being too protectionist for wealth that has already been generated.
@earthtellsmars, Indeed, we hope so too. There are few easy fixes we can do here in Europe to better support the startups and create much more enabling environment for entrepreneurs. It can be done relatively quickly, safely and cost effectively. Let's hope some of the decision makers hear this conversation :)
Great interview!
Thank you Mariana! Glad you enjoyed it.

I agree with you, Dursun, on most topics! Journaling is helpful, it clears the mind and makes one reason beyond raw emotions. Thanks for the encouraging video 🙂
@salamoleg thanks, I am happy that you enjoyed the video. There are so many tools out there, the trick is to find and pick ones that really works for you. For me, journaling is a good alternative to meditation, which is a bit challenging for me. I can easily reflect and write down my thoughts vs sit in silence and passively observe my thoughts.
Wow, I really enjoyed this video!
Glad you did, thanks @profreshtothedeath!
Great video!
@anikoilles7463 thanks a lot <3
Happy new year Dursun. We missed you so much. Thanks for the friendly reminder about our goals
@naderbazyari2 Happy New Year to you too. Glad to be back and continue creating value.
Great content ! 😊
Thanks @davidivanyi1276! Glad you liked it.
Impressive 👏
Thank you @jenapnoyba5689. Glad you liked it!
Very interesting! Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I think taking risks means being brave, and it's the only way to grow. I think the biggest risk for me was changing my professional area, but it was a million years ago so I feel probably it's time to take risks again 😁
Thanks Mariana Mdzeluri for sharing your view and example. Indeed, taking a risk requires a lot of courage, especially when making a career change. There is so much uncertainty involved. It's exciting to hear that you are ready for taking another risk. Good luck and enjoy the journey!
