I played this a while ago and hated it.

Sorry Handsome Squad for not seeing you in until 13:49 I have 2 sets of headphones, but only one would pick up TTS from chat. I'm not sure what happened except that I hadn't rebooted the bot programs which enable the TTS. I'll make sure to test my voice and TTS beforehand from here on out.

So glad to have the audio issues resolved inre the terrible stuttering and weird feedback. Capture card was well worth the money.

This is a simple budget method. Doable with equipment you may already have starting out. As of this message, I've implemented an elgato capture card and it's allowed me to livestream with ease. Highly recommend if you're looking to go Live.

Broke down and got an elgato. It should also serve me for VR since quest now supports hdmi. So I'm justifying it! It did great, just need get a wired 3mm jacked headset for comfort- unless I can get good wireless earbuds to connect to the pc, then I'll go that route. But the BIG audio issue of static is gone. ETA: and I do believe this went through in 4k at 60 fps, at least to youtube. Not sure about Twitch. I don't think Twitch can output 4k? I could be wrong. At worst, it's 1080

Additionally, adding the audio source close to the 57 minute mark, those were bluetooth earbuds I never paired to the pc. Yet they tested with the chimes heard there; I heard the chimes in those earbuds which were paired to my phone. I had pulled up the livestream on my phone to hear what the viewer would hear. It added confusion. Though there was no interference, it wasn't real time for me in the game- so not what I could listen to to play with the delay that happens. I do need to hear what the audience hears for the TTS chat reader if or when an audience joins. Unfortunately, the over the ear headphones do not fit well over those earbuds. And I'm hearing delayed game sounds through them. I kind of need the smaller wired earbuds that DO fit under my headphones to have muted output and no game sounds and only my TTS sound. I'm no sound engineer, so this is a slow learning curve for me. **Sudden realization as I edit this comment is: Obviously, all pc not just game sounds and mic - are being heard by chat. That's why I heard the chimes. I shall persist!

I think the static (interference) is coming from the window capture, as the desktop audio capture sounds fine when the game is not on screen. And the echoing I heard seems to indicate there are two audio sources. However, in the advanced settings of the software only shows the desktop audio source having volume over 0%. I removed or turned down all other sources except my mic and desktop audio. What I hear is through headphones, and desktop audio is through earbuds. No sound is in the room except my voice and background sound the mic might pick up, like my chair or setting something on the desk, etc. All electronics audio are going into headphones of some sort.

Learning a lot about the process here. I hear I lowered my mic gain too much. The feedback is gone, though, which was a #1 issue. Mic audio now going through an external mic but not the headset mic (a better mic than the headset mic, but also more cumbersome as a hanging mic that is not omni directional). I'll continue to improve there. These Lives are not expected to get much viewtime, but do act as a nice journal of my origin here and problem solving beyond just getting Prism Studio set up, which was its own months long process to learn. Anyboo- if you have watched, THANK YOU!

In the description you said edited on the quest im wondering what editing software you use on the quest.

My editing software was being weird. Some of the errors of Dictation (like "our" instead of "are") I corrected didn't save; nor did the final trims. Sorry about the abrupt ending! But the info all made it in there. Also, I did record video in my virtual environment, but none of it displayed- I don't know why. I assume it is a privacy setting I have that is blocking images while Passthrough is active, but I'm not sure. This is why I added text to present more of a slideshow of notes type format.

Twitch streamers, ideas on the poor audio while on the bus? I'm new to recording using the xbox + Twitch, then exporting to YT. The pulsing is present on the Twitch og recording. Too. Ends at 7:50 once I'm off the bus. Just the game's audio file? Related to Twitch autoblanking copywriter song (Xbox logo minutes)?

I have oculus quest 2 not 3 I rather have my oculus 2 controller

So nice to see some help for us VIPs! :D Unfortuantly, if I walk back 15ft, the Quest just moans that I've left the play zone, and I can't get the menu bigger. I ended up taking screenshots of it and memorising the positions of what I need to adjust. Btw, I think it would help you a lot if you turn off all the effects. It'll stop all the flashing and makes everything a bit less overwhelming. Top players sometimes do it too, so I think it's just genrally helpful if you're practising. Anyway, thanks so much for the tips and happy gaming!
