This channel is co-owned by me (Lhamokyi) & my older sister Anna. These videos follow me in America and her various adventures of traveling, work, and spending time with family in China. The plan is for us to do videos together when we reunite
A little about us: We are half Tibetan and grew up in between Lhasa and the US. Anna enjoys painting and trained in Lhasa to learn Thangka style in 2013. Anna currently works for an up & coming tibetan fashion brand (Hima Alay studio). Lhamokyi lived in Seoul for 1 year enrolled in the Ewha University Language Intensive program. Both Lhamokyi and Anna are passionate about cultures, traveling, and of course the creative arts.
We both created this channel to help us create a space for our memories- taking you all along for the ride! :)

I've never seen so many stars in the sky. Dzongsar felt like Bhutan to me! Although very similar (Tibet/Bhutan), the atmosphere is somewhat different. We get to tour a production/research facility for traditional Tibetan medicine which was amazing. It's a book shop, not a book store. The shop sells books. A store stores things. Don't use American expressions if you can avoid it, they really do mangle the English language.
