Hey Man. Is your wife from Germany? I used to live in Naples up until the 1980s. Then, Naples took a nose dive in livability. Naples was once a jewel. No matter how many Hurricane Ians, most of these gargantuan and ugly houses will be rebuilt. For people like this, the new rich who have infested Naples in recent years, enough is never enough. Bigger is never big enough. You are old, probably about 75 years of age, judging by your hands. You probably remember a time, before WW2, when life was better. Anyway, nice video. I was hoping to see further south on Gulf Shore Blvd. Take care.

So is no one allowed to have a dock there? I didn't see one anywhere when you were showing the backyard. I'd love to live somewhere like that but would want to be able to have my boat next to the house. I like the hedges too. I'm not a big fan of living somewhere with close neighbors so that's a nice way of having a 7 foot high privacy fence that doesn't look bad.

When filming in the wind like this, you might as well wait to do the dialogue and add it in later. YT captions only works when the audio does, but even then it's so horribly unreliable it's a joke, and that's just translating English to English. But I like to see hurricane footage from homeowners. To me it's different because a storm chaser chooses to go to that area and picks a temp. place to hole up. But a homeowner has nowhere else to go, and also has to deal with anything that happens to the building. One guy filmed a neighbors house collapse and his own porch getting torn off during Ida.

Just a note for anyone else who is planning to visit this church, please observe what the signs say in the wings of the church and be as silent as possible out of respect for our Lord and people who might be praying. Also just know that THE BATHROOMS ARE NOT IN THE CHOIR LOFT, THEY ARE IN THE SIDE WINGS OF THE CHURCH. go through the church about midway and there's a break in the pews and big doorways to your right and left. go through those doorways and continue going towards the front of the church, and you'll find the bathrooms. I cannot tell you how many times people have come to the choir loft asking where the bathroom is XD

They are AMAZING! I saw them from the very beginning, and they are always great, but this is on another level! They have really brought the visual aspect into it. I love the movement of the horns and all the kicks and rock star moves. It really makes it an ultra professional show. The lighting was awesome and I love the backdrop! Just an incredible feast for the ears and eyes! I can’t wait to see you guys again!

Just a couple hours ago, Rick, an hurricane category 2 hit my hometown here in Mexico. These images look eerily similar, most big trees have fallen and the palms just stand as if nothing happened.

I posted on FB today in memory of the anniversary of Irma destroying our home on this day in 2017; and in solidarity with the people who just lost everything to Ida. So few know that Irma hit Naples on the anniversary of Hurricane Donna (1960). So many similarities between Irma/Donna and Ida/Katrina. Thankful to God that we survived!
