I bought on of this a week ago. Loving the photos out of it and the camera looks really good. Thanks for the video
You are welcome. Yeah, it's a good little camera. Thanks for letting me know how it worked out for you. Always good to hear a positive outcome.👍👍
does it have flash?
@michelletitus6324 yes it does
Settings please?
It was on auto.
What time of year did you trim?
I have a 25 year old toro valve (Model# 53381). It doesn't seem to be available. Do you know what I can buy for internal replacement parts?
If it were me I'd try buying a Toro 250 valve. I looked at the manual for the 53381 and they look a lot alike. That doesn't mean the parts are interchangeable, but you could give it a try. A valve that old may have a cracked body, so you may have to replace the whole valve anyway. So if that's the case you'll have the whole valve for the job. The sprinkler shop that was in the video is closed now or I would ask them about it. Good luck. And thanks for watching.
maybe he died.
I just found his video through a camera review. I hope he is doing well. saw him reply to a comment 4 months ago
you ok?
i thought older cameras like these have a limit of 2gb? how did ur 16gb sd card work
It worked just fine. The camera just does its thing. Having a larger card in it doesn't change the cameras operation. I never heard that older cameras have limits on the size of the card. Anyway, the 16gb card worked just fine. Thanks for the question.
@@houseandgardenprojects5394im sorry, can you please help me? How to charging this camera? I found it at my dads old things and don’t know how to turn on it

Yeah, thanks. Amazing huh from just a point-and-shoot camera.

Thank you😎😎
Tips?
Wow thank you.
You're welcome Thanks for watching!
Thank you. Could I just trim the crown back a couple feet if a young tree to make it thicken and spread ?
If you're going to trim the crown, keep it light. Don't top any large limbs. This tree (Flowering Plum) can sometimes grow a little spindly. So I know what you mean. Just keep it light.
Was watching to see how the battery got charged. Still don't know. Lol
Oh sorry. It's been a while since I owned this camera. I'm pretty sure this camera came with a charger. I would have thought I would have shown it during the unboxing. But I didn't see the charger in the video. Anyway you need an exterior charger. It comes with the camera. It works like any charger that comes with a camera. You just slide the battery into the charger and then plug the charger into the wall. If you need a charger here's a link to Amazon for one amzn.to/3RlgAtd If you make a purchase through this link I do receive a small commision. Thank you for your interest.👍
hello i want to program the night mode can you help me
Hello Ismail, Thanks for the question. To tell you the truth I sold this camera 6 years ago, so I'm unable to go through the menu and try to figure this out. I did go and look at the manual online and it does have an automatic night time detection. And you can adjust the ISO to help lighten up the shot. If you adjust the ISO too much the shot can get grainy. Here's the link to the PDF. If you click on useful shooting functions, then click on Exposure Compensation then scroll down it will give you some ideas. Let me know if this helped. Here's hoping you can get it to take a good photo at night. Here's the link to the manual www.sony.com/electronics/support/res/manuals/W001/W0014388M.pdf

This video is 6 years old but is that part store still in business and if so what is the name of it?
The store is do-it-yourself sprinklers. I've been wondering how they are over there. I haven't been in the store since before covid. So I don't know if they're still open. I just tried their phone number and it's no longer in service. They've had the same number for 40 years. I'm not really doing sprinkler work anymore. So I don't need to buy sprinkler parts anymore. They are still mentioned on yelp so you can google do it yourself sprinklers in Las Vegas and get their phone number and address. Are you in Las Vegas?
is it worth to make a cinematic footage?
It's pretty cinematic.

Thank you for taking the time to make the video & explain everything. It was very helpful.
I never understand why cutting a branch twice to reduce bark stripping is not replaced by a simple under or back cut about 1/3rd through then the final cut made?
Great video please note the valve in the video is the 260 not the 264. Link to Amazon is for the smaller 264 not the one in the video
Yeap you're right! I clicked on the Amazon link and it went to the 3/4 valve. Nice catch. I'll fix that. Very much appreciated.
This cam is hard doesn't get broken easily am still using it ...
That's great! Thanks for the positive comment.
It's a CCD sensor yeah I think I can pull some interesting stuff out of it are 2020 saw one for 25 bucks
how is that a positive comment
Nice video. I have not been able to find the replacement parts. Any idea where can I get them ? Thank you.
Hey Gaspar, Thanks for the kind words. This valve is not so easy to find. Lowes or Home Depot will probably not have it. You need to go to a sprinkler store. Or check this our here's the valve on Amazon If I were you I'd just go ahead and buy the whole valve. It's actually cheaper than buying all the parts separately houseandgardenprojects.com/264-Toro-Valve This link will take you straight to Amazon. Hope this helps.
Can a valve body go bad without leaking?
Yes... Especially toro and richdale valves . hunter makes the best valves.
This video, type o earlier shows Kobe Bryant in the background. May he and his daughter rest in peace! Date of this comment 1/29/20
This vide has Kobe Bryant in the background thanks for show it!
By the way a great review on a camera I'm thinking about in 2020
@@GoldenYearsTrading1099 Alright cool thanks for watching and the nice compliment! And thanks for reminding me of the poster with Kobe Bryant in it.
Amazing video! well explained and detailed! Thank you!
Thanks, Omar, I really appreciate the feedback.
I'm trying to find the parts, but it seems like its cheaper to buy the whole valve assembly and just replace the top end. Anyone else deal with this?
It depends on what parts you need. Just the diaphragm is available and is cheaper than the whole valve. But if you have to replace the diaphragm and the solenoid It's probably cheaper to buy the whole valve. When I made this video I bought the whole valve. Just the time savings alone by not making two trips can make it worth it. It may well save you a trip.
Rain bird easier to deal with
One of the best "how to" videos I've watched. Well done, well explained. Thank you very much!
Thank you so much for the kind words. I'm glad you liked it!
Nice video. I lost the plunger spring for the solenoid and cannot find a replacement. Does anyone know where I can find a replacement?
WOW, that's going to be tuff. You might need to just buy a new solenoid. Thanks for the comment though. And thanks for watching.
Really helpful. I took mine apart and put it back together and the lowest sprinkler controlled by that valve still leaks. What I noticed from the video is that the two valves I took apart really don't have any kind of spring action in the solenoid damper. Can that spring be replaced or should I buy a whole new solenoid?
The springs in these solenoids really don't have a lot of action to them. What I do when I continue to have a problem is to buy a whole new valve. This way I replace the whole top with the new solenoid and replace the diaphragm. If it still leaks (and some times it does) you need to replace the whole valve. It can be a pain. You will have to dig out the pipe going to the valve. Cut it and replace the valve and re-glue the pipe back on. Hope I helped. Good Luck!
Hello great video what are the small wires running with the solenoid wires? What do they do?
I assume you're talking about the colored wires? They go to the sprinkler clock. Thanks for the question. I hope that helps.
really good idea whenever dealing with plastic and screws, During reassembly, start by turning screw the wrong way and feel for the "click" when it jumps te thread end. THEN gently start turning in the right way to tighten. It takes just a second and you minimize the risk of stripping the valve body screw hole.
Very nice video! Great info!
Thank you I appreciate that!
Helpful information thank you for sharing
Thanks for that I'm glad it was helpful!
Wow
mine's stuck at the language selection screen
My only suggestion would be to take the battery out for a while and then put it back in. If this doesn't work it might be time to shop for a new camera. Sorry if that's the case.
@@houseandgardenprojects5394 hi.it's ok now.haha thanks
how long does the battery take to charge?
@@angelibernardino6679 I have a lot of cameras. I don't really remember how long this one took too recharge, but in general 3-5 hours will do it with most cameras.
@@angelibernardino6679 Yeah ya know electronic gadgets can be temperamental. Hopefully, it stays OK
I have a Toro 250 01-04. Parts look to be in good shape, perhaps there was some debris preventing proper operation. I have 10 zones so picked up some spare parts and valve to have on hand anyway.
very helpful. thanks for uploading. my toro hydraulic control valve is very similar. however it uses vacuum from the irrigation pump housing to turn the toro valve on & off. my toro valve sits on top of my irrigation pump housing & a small vacuum tube runs from the pump housing up to the toro valve. the inside guts of my toro valve are the same as your toro solenoid valve you've shown here.
Thank you. Very useful
Thank you for the comment.
It's nice that you want to improve the health of the tree, but that does make me wonder why you make those horrible flush cuts. Always cut right above the branch collar, so that you get a small wound which the tree can seal relatively quickly. Also, cutting off this much from a purple leaf plum will cause it to produce lots of ugly watersprouts, which will be a maintenance issue for many years to come. Cleaning up the bottom part, deadwooding, removing the branch that hits the roof and maybe some light thinning is all it needed, i.m.o.
No one has a cordless drill & Phillips bit?
We go over the idea of using a drill. It's covered in the video at the 9min 12 second mark Thank you for asking
i like the look of this tree. but want something fairly low maintenance what is the leaf/flower drop like on these?
The Flowering Plum is deciduous so it drops its leaves in the fall, And when it flowers it does make some what of a mess but the rest of the time its very clean. Not like lets say an African Sumac that makes a mess all summer.
Excellent video. Another tip: Either purchase another O-Ring from the parts store or make sure to keep the O-ring from the old solenoid. When purchasing a new solenoid from Toro (parts store) an O-ring does NOT come with the solenoid. If you replace the old solenoid with the new one - and forget to put the O-ring back on - the solenoid will leak, causing you to invent words which may not have been in your vocabulary prior to the project.
Thank you for your input. I'm always happy to hear new thoughts. That's funny invent new words.
Oh my gosh, thank you!! I just moved into a new house and after turning on the irrigation system I received a $600 water bill due to leaky valve. Before I watched your video I had no idea what kind of valve I even had, let alone how to fix it. I really appreciate you!
I'm so happy I could help. And I'm so very glad you let me know!
Great video
