CAFFA Dancers performed at NewCasa Christmas Party Dinner Dance held Dec 7, 2024
CAFFA Dancers, plus NEWCASA President Prescila Atienza, performed a beautiful Filipino folk dance during the New Canadian Seniors Association of Calgary’s Christmas Party Dinner & Dance held December 7, 2024, at the Doubletree Hotel in Calgary. This dance is inspired by the graceful movements of birds. We were all charmed by the grace, elegance and beauty of all these ladies.
Fe Layos was the choreographer.

November 9, 2024 Graduation Ceremonies for the Golden Generation Seniors Club NH Cooking Class project included some dance presentations; this one is to the music of “The older I Get" (a remix). This dance included an apron decoration contest, eventually won by Sixto in center front row.

The Golden Generation Seniors Club in Calgary had a gala to celebrate the 3rd quarter birthdays with dinner and dance on September 21, 2024. One of the entertainments was a dance by the GGSC Dancers, performed to the music “Stand by Me”.

The Young Once Seniors Club, YOSC, had a dinner/ dance graduation celebration for their beginners computer course, plus for Christmas on December 2, 2023 at the Marlborough Park Community Centre. The Pearl of the Orient dance troupe provided one of the special traditional dance presentations, the "Pandango Santa Clara".

The GGSC Dancers were inspired by the “Mexican Wind” song to perform at the Golden Generation Seniors Club’s 3rd Quarter Birthday Celebrations and Gala held November 26, 2023 at the Marlborough Park Community Centre. We can see the talents of their choreographer Aida San Miguel. Napaka-ganda! Very Beautiful!

Here is a folk dance presented by the CAFFA Dancers during a social-connections bus tour that included representatives from a dozen Filipino groups from Calgary to visit the Filipino Canadians of Lethbridge.

On September 9, 2023, the FCSDC (Filipino Catholic Society of the Diocese of Calgary) held their annual dinner/dance gala and were entertained by members with a line dance to the song "Cold Heart". The location was the Polish Canadian Cultural Centre.
