Color-filled acrylic whiteboard attempt. You been the judge.
Transforming clear acrylic into a whiteboard. Attempted to have a translucent color image show through. In the initial shot the acrylic still has the white, plastic backing. This made it difficult to see the application of the first coat of white paint.

Amazing work! Thank you for sharing the process. I appreciate your work. Thank you
OMG I am so impressed your video was great. I hope that I can learn more from you! I have the XTOOL P2 it is a learning process Thank you for sharing!
First 👊🏻💪🏻
what a great result..very nice
Perfect. Just the technique I was looking for. Very professional finish. Thanks for sharing.👍
great video I can't wait to try this.
Awesome job mate , looks terrific. 👌
The part where you raster the Acrylic 8:29 and it doesn’t raster the writing. I’m trying do do this, could you please explain, is it masking or something else,
Awesome! Thank you for sharing your talent! Looks so good.
Whoa, just whoa!!!! Hats off. This is beyond amazing!!!
OK, but how are you lining it up perfectly after picking it up so many times??!
Love this
Outstanding!
Awesome job. Thanks for sharing
You did an amazing awesome job explaining everything. 😊
*Extremely fabulous, how you have all your settings dialed in so perfectly!*
*Beautiful work! You can make a much better (shorter) video by speeding up the repetitive parts (ie. textured background lasering).*
There is a more brief version. This is a detailed version in response to many people asking for step-by-step instructions.
this looks great...
Love the textured background, good job!
NOw if we could pray paint exotic conductors and insulator material e could build a computer chip into our jewelry one layer at a time and go all futuristic. lol
I only have three questions! You may have mentioned them, but i might have missed it. What power lazer do you have? I only have a 10w diode. How did you line it up perfectly every time? And where do you get your graphics at? It looks great!
He has a 75W CO2 laser - diode lasers will be able to cut the paper (and maybe minimally etch the surface of the clear acrylic), it will not be able to cut the clear acrylic. As for lining it up perfectly each time, he has a fence to line it up each time in what appears to be the top right of the laser bed. Where he gets his graphics at, that I do not know, but there are plenty of resources out there (vector sites, Etsy, etc.).
Diodes won't mark or cut on clear acrylic with out extra steps.
Gorgeous and professional work man. I learned quite a few things from your content today, thank you!!!!
Outstanding ..... Skillset!
Absolutely genius. Perfect example of what and how to show a really professional looking technique. Thank you so much.
Shaky hands dirty laser, who cares? What you have made with both is outstanding. The best results take the most time, understanding of the process and patience. Top marks on all counts, and a big thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Awesome technique! I'll have to see if I can make that work on my K40
the background texture is great, do you happen to have a link to it or a file, please?
That texture really adds a nice touch. Awesome content, thank you!
great job!!!
Awesome! 👍
Certainly not a quick process, but the end result is very slick and worth your effort. Thanks for sharing.
Great vid. Thanks. When you removed the center masking so you could engrave just the center, how did you know you were laying it down on the honeycomb EXACTLY in the same place where you did the first engraving? Sorry if this is a silly question. Only had my laser a few days and not familiar with all the tips and tricks yet? Thanks
VERY COOL!!!! The paint on the back doesn't scratch off with people handling them or them bumping around against each other??
This was great! Thank you for sharing.
Very nice job
One of the best laser projects I've seen. Thank you for sharing.
Are you using air assist when you engrave in that? When I engrave in acrylic, there is always some hidden dust when I apply the colors, which destroys the work.
Yes, and I use a blow gun and brush to blow off as much dust as I can
This is an awesome idea, thanks for sharing your knowledge!
Can u share the background?
VERRRRRRRRY NIIIIIICE TYVM
Thank you 🙏 for sharing your technique, great video!
great job, this is amazing and beautiful.
Hello, great video! thanks for sharing. One question. (newbie here) When you're lasering away for the text, wouldn't you want to up the power to carve into the acryllic so that the end result is a raised text effect? Like the paint is raised?
You can do that.
Good explanation of your system. What material are the hold down jigs made of? Doesn’t look like MDF.
Hello! Can you tell me what program you used to create these letters?
A Great Video Brother! I myself am new to the laser engraving community. I will definitely try this method, I’m already in the automotive care and paint industry.
This is a masterpiece! Kudos to you, Mr Jameson!
Thank you!
