An I hate that turn based point and click nonsense But disco Elysium. Fuck this game brings emotions out of me I didn't even I still had. Also Harry's struggles with sobriety helped me as I was struggling to stay clean when I first played it

What, Mali, you don't eat ice cream with your bare hands? I mean sometimes you just can't find a spoon in a decrepit movie theatre when you get the urge! It is a nice touch that you can see his breath though. Lots of nice little call backs in this stretch of the game (and some very interesting little details in Heavens Night, including James' reaction to the liquor and the items in the Lost and Found bin)

Out of this list I only care about stalker 2.

I'll be travelling for most of the month so I probably won't be gaming much at all lol I will likely be picking up Dragon Age once I get back home though. Interested in the Dragon Quest 3 Remake as it was one of my faouvite RPGs of all time but in a lot of ways I'm fine just sort of leaving it in my memories. We'll have to see. For those who haven't played the game before, though, this should be great. Stalker isn't really my type of game at all BUT I really, really, really want it to succeed given all the developers have gone through. It's one of the few games I'd actually consider buying just to support them even if I doubt I'd ever even install it.

Spoiler alert- She says right from the start the plot surprise of the game. Don't watch...

The game does autosave but the saves are pretty few and far between (generally only happening at major transition points) so you shouldn't really rely on them at all. Huh, didn't know you could just time him out there as you can actually fight him and damage him enough to make him leave (though it doesn't actually change things as the air raid siren just sounds after doing enough damage) Love how Maria just steps right into James line of sight as he's gazing across the lake just about to possibly remember something and then they pan the camera back to the lake and you see the light once James has turned away And yeah, the changes they make actually end up filling in a bit of a larger narrative. It's done subtly enough that if you hadn't played the original you probably wouldn't even notice (outside of wondering what the weird moments of vertigo are) but it really adds to the experience if you have played before

Any 5-year old could do this then ... but as a true-crime buff for about 30 years I want to establish the cause of death myseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelf *cries uncontrollably* Thank you very much for your extremely enlightening review! The developers indeed promised an "Autopsy-Only" mode but until it gets released, receives a lot of positive reviews AND forces you to figure everything out yourself, I wouldn't even want it for free now in its current state. I already have plenty of free things I can get enormously frustrated about. Like life. 😃

I think, this was the best part of the game. Really like Eli (cant believe I like the guys in this game most :) ) and the spooky facility was fun to explore. Fire - Talks are also highlights of the game.

You're speaking English but I can't understand a good 50% of what you're saying.

Since the combat can be a little tough, a couple quick combat related tips that I don't believe the game actually tells you: - There is a "stealth kill" system where if you melee hit an enemy from behind and that enemy hasn't noticed you yet, you get an instant knock down and can then stomp them out. You may need to turn off your flashlight and/or radio to do it but it's worth keeping in mind for some tricky areas - The dodge does have some invincibility so you can dodge through more things than it seems like you should be able to. This is really useful against the Legs since they like to poke and lunge at you a lot - Once you have your handgun, you can kneecap enemies with legs to trigger a crumple (which causes a single follow-up melee hit to be a knock down). It's not 100% since James isn't exactly a great marksman but it can be extremely helpful for saving ammo if nothing else

About naming the Superpowers: Yeah - Strange choice of Names for them. But maybe, it is done intentionally for give the ending more power (later more on that because spoilers). But you are still in the better Part of the game. And soon, you will meet another cool dude.

Don't feel bad about finding the combat a little tough. I've been watching a streamer I enjoy playing through the game and he's been having trouble getting to grips with it as well despite being someone who does no levelling and no hit challenges in the Souls games. He's playing on Hard but it doesn't seem horribly different than what I'm seeing in your play through.

Chances are it's not Tyra's fault xP Speaking of sound though, yeah, they use the original music as well as new music also composed by the same person who did the music in the original game. I agree that "new Angela" does look younger than she did before but I always interpreted her as being younger than she looked before so the new design actually fits my perception better. Not sure what her canon age is though lol

Soldier on soldier... Im afraid it doesn't get much better. Watched Savvy's playthrough. She struggled we struggled now it's your turn lol. I really like the art style of this game... It's just... so unlikable.

Happy to see someone still giving this game a fair shake tbh Idk everyone reacting to the lack of hot characters in The silent hill 2 remake Like what they did to jean gray is woke nonsense (cant help but notice its always redheads being made uglier. Cant help but feel like the church still has influence there xD) Idk I feel like brain rot isn't just deep on the slacktavists side. I feel like anyone who pays too much attention to those kinds of things for too long ends up an angry mess regardless

Of course, there's also the Pristine Cut version of the game they just announced with even more content coming in that. And my favourite princess was probably the ghost/doll face one. Just something about that spooky aesthetic combined with how she essentially just kills you by being close to you is my jam

Lots of very good looking stuff this month for sure. Dragon Age is probably the only definite play for me but I'm very interested in Silent Hill, Life is Strange and Cabernet too.

Yeah, as.. questionable as a lot of the writing is, the voice actors are generally doing a very good job with it. You're bang on about all of the talking in the combat. And given how little combat there actually seems to be so far I kind of wonder if they even really needed combat at all (and now your bat even has a skill tree?)

Ah. A new part arrives. Nice. I dont get the N**iDeutschland comparition during my playtrough. Need to check that up. The Liberty - Talk is really a bit long I have to say. And sadly, you never hear about them again after they left. A bit further in the liberty - arc, there will be a very bad scene about the other Mother, destroying any emotional bonding to the situation (short before leaving, dont want to put spoilers here).

I think, the whole Group is a „we need to put all minorities - Drawing“. Feels a bit „artificial“, but with the most of them, it doesnt feel bad. Pax is what you made her. Noam is a cool Person somehow Theo is „Daddy guy“ Sai … ah a bit annoying somehow. Later, other people will join. Dont want to spoil anything here. Fighting System is really broken. You can hit Robots (later) even trough obstacles. Maybe a good idea to switch to less combat (i left it to normal mode).

Yeah, your comments around the 13 minute mark are kind of the vibe I've been getting about the whole game so far, and not just with Sai. I'm absolutely 100% all for diversity and inclusiveness. As part of what is generally the most standard demographic of game player out there, I love when games give me a chance to walk a mile in someone else's shoes and see (and feel) things from a different perspective. It really is one of the best things about the medium. But this game is so on the nose with everything it does that it honestly feels like a parody of some kind; a game made by let's just say a certain group of people literally using a checklist to make fun of "diverse and inclusive" games.
