    My partner had a summary offense that was dismissed and she thinks it got sealed on its own by the state of PA since it was a case dismissed and doesn’t show up on a PSP case report anymore, does that mean after 5 years it will automatically be expunged as well? Or what happens next?

    • @recorderaser9938
      @recorderaser9938 15 годин тому

      The summary offenses MIGHT have been expunged by the PSP. Without knowing what was on your record, all we can do is quote $100 to request a PSP Full Access Review to get a complete history and see if it is there. You can also email any court documents/your PSP report to info@recorderaser.net for us to take a look at it! ~ Attorney Mark Walmer (#50122)

    Mr. Walmer, the information you provide within your videos is very encouraging. I had filled out the form on your website, a young man called me, asked a few questions and said he’d need to get more information and would be in touch. I never heard from him again. Either way, I appreciate your videos.

    Idk how helpful, but he charges 3100/ pardon that he says takes 2/3 years to get cleared with no way to financially expedite the process. I believe the sales pitch went something along the lines of : after u pay us we keep track of the court dates , file the paperwork & notify you went it’s time for court 2years .” I’m not knocking his hustle at all , I just rather not spend 3100 to have someone file some papers an keep track of court dates an responses. Just me ! The expungement process ( which is wayyy faster ) will cost you about 1700 Keep your paperwork organized Do a little research & get active ! Good luck ppl

      Thank you for your comment and for sharing your perspective. We completely understand that the pardon and expungement process can be overwhelming and misunderstood, and we respect your decision to research and pursue this independently. Additionally, pardons and expungements are two completely different services and the outcome for both is not the same. We highly recommending watching our video on the difference between them here: ua-cam.com/video/cafDBqtF4ug/v-deo.html When it comes to cost, our office’s base fee for a single docket pardon applications starts at $2,500 with a $200 add on per additional docket we found on your record. We understand that this can be difficult for some, so we happily provide payment plans and work with our clients if they are stuck. This fee allows our small team to obtain court and state police records, consultations with Attorney Walmer (and his 35+ years of experience) on how to craft a strong application, and guidance through the entire process to increase your chances of success and make you feel well prepared. While it’s true you can apply for free through the Board of Pardons, the process is complex and can take up to four years, as stated on the Board’s website. Our fee covers our client no matter how long the process is and ensures any communications or updates are being monitored and responded so we can help our clients navigate these complexities with confidence and clarity so they do not feel like they filed incorrectly or are not prepared. The longer timeline is due to the growing number of applications being submitted, many of which may not meet eligibility criteria. This is why we carefully screen potential clients to give them an honest take about what can and cannot be cleared, saving time and effort for all involved. While we are still a small law firm business, I can promise that we are one that prioritizes providing helpful information for all. For those who cannot afford representation, Attorney Walmer often directs individuals to resources like PLSE (Philadelphia Lawyers for Social Equity) and local pardon clinics, as we firmly believe everyone deserves a fresh start. We advocate for justice and accessibility, whether through direct representation or providing educational resources like these videos, which are designed to empower individuals filing on their own. We’re grateful for the opportunity to provide these services and resources, and we hope that, whether you decide to hire a professional or go the DIY route, you succeed in your efforts to clear your record! If you ever have questions or need additional guidance, don’t hesitate to reach out. Wishing you the best of luck in your journey! 😊

    What's going on at the BOP with expedited marijuana pardons? I sent in my application on 11/2023, got the questionnaire on 4/24 and still no news. I emailed them recently and they said the process takes about 2-2.5 years.. I though that was the point of expedited.. I could see a year, but its unreal it takes this long.

    Brandon Flood is truly a great man. Thank God for the ambitious work he did during his capacity on the PA BOP, and the work he continues to do. I have a case from 17 yrs ago (when I was 20). I submitted my application today, after putting it off for years. My husband will be police chief next yr and personally knows Flood, along with other PA officials. Fear of smearing his reputation has deterred me from going through the process. Today I woke up and decided I was done living in my own personal prison I’ve created, due to the stigma associated with my history. I submitted my application today and placed it in God’s hands 🙏🏼 this was a very informative interview that I wish more people in my situation could find and watch!

    • @recorderaser9938
      @recorderaser9938 3 місяці тому

      First and foremost - Congrats on submitting your application! We completely understand how difficult it can be to take that first step, and we’re so glad Brandon Flood’s work and our interview could provide you with the information and encouragement you needed to move forward. Your decision to finally submit your application shows incredible strength, and we’re sure your husband, along with everyone who knows you, will be proud of your courage. The stigma can feel like a heavy weight, but taking control of your future is such a freeing step! We’re honored to be a small part of your huge journey, and we’re cheering for you as you move through the pardon process. Wishing you all the best and hoping others in similar situations find the same inspiration you had! Please feel free to reach out if you ever have questions or need more information along the way. You’ve got this! :)

      We completely understand how you feel, and many people share your frustration. It seems unfair to have to pay to restore rights, especially after already serving your time. Unfortunately, the current system requires legal steps to clear records or restore rights, but we try to make the process as accessible as possible. We offer affordable flat-rate services and payment plans, and we’re always willing to work with clients based on their budget. If you’d like to discuss your options, we’re here to help however we can.

    1 st it should not matter if a person mad mistakes in his or her per. If they did what ever time then they should be aloud to have their rights back, ITS A CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT for all American. Personal i feel what we are doing to crimes is being decimated at people with a record. They should have right to protect their family their self and the right to hunt for food. I wish this was possible in the state of Massachusetts. When I was 19 violated probation which turned everything straight to guilty. Sentenced to 45 days released after 30 days. Never had another arrest again almost 30 years later and the immature choices still haunt and prevent many things. Nothing violent yet the state took my conceal carry and all state firearms rights away. Was able to get my record sealed but that only seals it from public and does not reinstate your rights to 2a. Cannot understand how a state can sentence you then strip your constitutional rights after you’ve paid that debt to society. If it was violent or sexual offense I’d understand but that state uses any offense to disqualify you. Heading toward 30 years of no issues and if that doesn’t demonstrate a change to law abiding citizen idk what does. The mind of an immature teen has the adult nearing 50 years old still paying the price. There really should be doors available to redeem yourself. I make it a mission to teach my children not to follow their friends in doing bad things for moral sake and a record that will haunt you. It’s a lifetime price that cannot be paid and moved on from.

      You may never know! Reach out to your state and local Bar Association or free-consult attorneys and ask about expungement and pardon services in your state!

      @@recorderaser9938 I will seek a lawyer one day but in the state of Massachusetts it’s quite rare to win an expungement and a pardon from the governor is unheard of. They want to outlaw guns in MA so they enjoy not giving pardons and expungements. There is the newer youthful offender law that allows them to expunge if under 21 when it happened BUT if you had 2 arrests or more you don’t qualify. I have a friend that had a fight with someone at 17 years old and the case was done at 18 and he cannot get a firearms permit or carry permit because he also had traffic violations over 500 dollars. The state doesn’t believe in rehabilitation and most definitely doesn’t respect the constitution either. Thanks for your reply.

    I have a felony marijuana charge for PWID. It’s been 10+ years since my conviction. I haven’t been in any trouble since. How would i go about trying to have my gun rights restored? This happened in PA by the way.

      Hello @MikeColeWorld, thank you for reaching out! Restoring gun rights after a felony conviction, especially for Possession with Intent to Deliver (PWID) in Pennsylvania, often involves seeking a pardon or an expungement, depending on the details of your case. Since it's been 10+ years and you’ve had no further issues, you may have a good chance of qualifying. To explore your options and get more specific legal advice from Attorney Walmer, feel free to contact us directly, and we’ll guide you through the process of clearing your record and potentially restoring your rights. NO THEY JUST NEED TO GIVE EVERYONE A PARDON NATIONWIDE BECAUSE BACKROUND CHECKS CAME OUT 25 YRS LATER RIGHT BEFORE THE MASS ARREST EXPERIMENT LAW CAME OUT IN 1994 IT WAS ALL DESIGN TO TAKE AWAY YOUR RIGHTS FACT. FROM 1968-1993 AFTER FELONS LOSS THERE GUN RIGHTS ANYONE FROM 1968-1993 COULD BUY GUNS INCLUDING ALL FELONS VIOLENT OR NOT BECAUSE BACKROUND CHECKS CAME OUT 25 YRS LATER

      I hear your frustration, and you’re definitely not alone in feeling this way. The history of background checks and changes in laws has affected a lot of people, and it’s understandable to feel like the system isn’t always fair. While we can’t control what happens nationwide, we’re here to help people in Pennsylvania who want to clear their records and restore rights through the expungement and pardon process. If you ever want to talk about your options, feel free to reach out-we’re here to help.
