IIRC the rubber bumper MGBs had parts added to the spring which raised the car so the headlights reached the minimum height required in the USA. That's why the car looks "lifted." These parts can easily be replaced with the earlier ones to bring the car back down where it should be.

You need to wind that thing up.

You should never lose power with a turbo. You CANNOT turbo an engine that doesn’t have the ability to compensate the fueling for boost. Stock your engine is setup to only read vacuum.

If you don’t have a way to compensate the boost with the needed fuel you will burn the engine up. I suspect you already found that out.

You shouldn’t be showing me these things 😂 I have an FZ-09 just sitting in my garage, hasn’t been ridden in 2 years 🤔

If you really want to mess with people’s brains while having more power, look into the Villiers V10. It’s not much bigger than a four cylinder, it can easily be mistaken for one, but it’s a V10. You can use the Mazda mx5 transmission.

Cam lobes facing DOWN, piston at TDC If you can’t see timing marks on flywheel use a screw driver to find TDC through the spark plug hole On my Apollo RFX 250 CRF230F clone there was no timing marks but i just went off of what i knew from doing a BBC ON M on a XR100

I like what you've done with the gear lever, much more positive and under the bonnet the engine bay looks far better. Maybe as it evolves some kind of exhaust will give you more power, for now what the hell make some noise she's your baby 😎👍

love it -- - i can see the space for exhaust is limited ----- maybe you could keep those pipes, cut the shorter and cap them with a narrow tall collector then exit somehow, mayybe loop around the front and then back ----- i'm sure you dropped a lot of weight so i bet it's going to handle better --- it will be better when it's quieted down--- not sure if that clutch will hold up or how hard/expensive it will be to change -- maybe there is a way to put a car clutch in it --- an overdrive gearbox behind a bellhousing would be interesting and then put super low gears in the back ---- awesome project --- i like the GT version better but very cool car --- i don't think you are killing the value --- if anything you are raising it --- if it was 100% restored that might be another story but then again restomods are beringing the money these days ---

Exhausts don't want back pressure, they want extraction, increase diameter further up to drop the pressure...

You remind me of me at your age. You have a good plan and worked out the bugs and problems as you came to them. My hats off to ya. If its a little sketchy, that will keep ya on your toes riding / racing it. Think on alternative fuels like nitromethane after you get it going. Ride safe. Well safe as possible.

Watched the entire series up to here and subbed. I first was looking at F500 and those using bike engines. Wondering if I could do it myself. Then I found SuperfastMatt and his S600 build. Looked all over for more and found yours. Love your series. I appreciate how you include the good, the bad, and the ugly. Locked your keys in the truck at Cleetus 😀Now I'm on the lookout for stripped MG's (or similar) and crashed super bikes. If I can do the entire thing (body + drivetrain) for ~$500 I will bring it to 24 Hours of Lemons! I'm looking forward to future installments. Thanks.
